Exactly. Don't get me wrong, if we had an extra 2nd rounder other than the three we have, or maybe a late 1st, I'd love to take a flier on the kid. But certainly not at 4th overall.
-
Says pretty much everyone yep. Sounds like a 2nd rounder to me

Rossi. Good at faceoffs. ? Krug
-
Sure. Lot's more of that character you talk about. I'll take elite skill for 1000 Alex

Congrats to Steve Yzerman. Drafted: Kucherov - 58th Point - 79th Palat - 208th Cereli - 72nd Paquette - 101 st Vasilevsky - 19th Undrafted Signings Johnson Gourde Traded for McDonagh Serhachev It's nice to know, with the draft just around the corner, that we are in good hands.
-
Yzerman's here to show all of you f***ers that you have no idea what you're talking about. He's signing Krug and drafting Perfetti and there's not a single thing you can do about it.
-
Effin right!! That's the attitude!
-
Nah man. Not Taylor Hall. So what you meant to say is Yzerman's an idiot. Great job idiot!

I heard someone thought about calling Kenny about a bag of dicks once.................

and they have a new GM looking to make a splash and they're dumb.
-
She's got nice traps.
-
Yeah. With a flat cap and so many strapped teams, I think he was crazy to not take this deal and stay in Boston. Unless that last Bruin's offer was back in February or something.
-
True. Staal can eat a bag of dicks ammiriet? . Is that U in your avatar?
-
Because holding people accountable for their s*** takes and opinions is how this place rolls. You should know.
-
No s***. But these guys, like Staal, are still going to play. So if you want the assets, you have to be prepared to watch these guys actually play on this team's roster. There aren't many Datsyuk contracts out there.
-
Yeah. I realized this after the fact. But when you start looking through other teams lineups at guys that fit any sort of bad contract-for-assets scenario, most of these guys are still going to play unless you a) buy them out (which no one really wants to do) or b) trade them (along with a 2nd round pick? lol) It just reeks of cake and eat it to me.
-
You want to gain assists for bad contracts but don't want any bad players?
-
Yeah. I don't think he's that smart actually. I've seen much better troll jobs from CRL and even you. LOL But what do I know. You're probably all the same person or something.
-
Oh, don't get me wrong. I'm right there with you. Something to consider: with how screwed up this coming season is likely to be, combined with how screwed up the offseason has been especially for young players/prospects, it's entirely likely that Yzerman is being cautious about filling to many holes with kids at least to start the season. From reading people's comments here it seems no one wants to plug holes with expensive free agents either. The results? Another terrible plug-ridden roster with far far far away tunnel light.
-
In that article, all Yzerman says is "plugs a hole" "good size" "solid defender" "good PKer" "been in the league a long time". I have no idea why you're on this train to be honest. Other then to complain. Which is fine. Yzerman is 100% actually doing what everyone is asking him to do with his cap space.
-
Draft Perfetti, sign Krug, sign Markstrom. U explode.
-
Cool. So when we sign Krug (7), Markstrom (6) Mantha (6) Bertuzzi (5.5) Ehen (1.5) Erne (1.5) we'll have about 6 left to take on more poop.
-
Yes. A massive spin by crappy Detroit writers. What else is new. If you're inferring that Yzerman, or anyone here on LGWs assumes Stall is anything more than a warm body then it looks like you're reaching just to complain. We all assumed Yzerman was going to sign one or two crappy stop-gap blueliners. Also, the Wright draft is coming in two years. He'll be tanking then too.
