U forgot me dude. And @frankgrimes

Holy mother of ***. This place.
-
I didn't say you did. I used that word on my own. Anyway....... .....what if they think Drysdale is BPA?
-
Unless Ottawa have Stutzle and Rossi rated closely. I don't think it's a guarantee that Detroit won't take Drysdale. You can never have too many RHD prospects. In which case, take Drysdale at 3 to be sure, and get whichever player you like that's left at 5.
-
There are smart people who would agree with this. There are also smart people who think Stutzle, Raymond, and Perfetti are all better prospects than Rossi.
-
If OTT takes Drysdale then we take Stutzle or Byfield and everyone's happy (excluding the resident querulous knobs and the insolent know-it-alls).
-
lol U don't know anything about s*** holmes Cool. Lundell it is.
-
I thought this was pretty obvious. Otherwise you or I could run any teams draft. This was all born out of the sentiment that taking Perfetti at 4 would be some kind of off-the-board mistake. Which is a 100% unjustified claim.
-
Gotcha. Only YOU can discern the differences. Otherwise, why complain about Perfetti at 4? I mean, now that we've ruled out nepotism.
-
According to some worthwhile hockey guys, Perfetti as BPA at 4 would not be a stretch. And at this point in their rebuild they should absolutely be taking BPA. If they think it's Rossi? Cool. Raymond? Cool. Askarov? Cool. Drysdale? Cool. Perfetti? Nepotism? Nah. Cool.
-
Not saying I want him at 4, but I wouldn't call taking a guy ranked in the top 5 by Pronman, Wheeler, Button, MacKenzie etc "nepotism".
-
Personally, I don't want Askarov at 4. That being said, the thought of having a blue chip goalie prospect in the system that by all indications projects as elite tier is exciting, Mostly just shows how many massive holes Yzerman has to fill.
-
yours truly, @ChristopherReevesLegs
-
How does it feel to be schooled in Wings goalie history by Chaps? Smartass.
-
Yzerman played on stacked teams in the early to mid 90s that were undermined by baaaaaad goaltending. Just sayin
-
I'm very aware. I was not.
-
That's actually Clint Eastwood. In Alcatraz. It only took him 6 months.
-
That Blue Adams tribute line up had me as the back up goalie. It was a lil facetious. Rasmussen was on a ******* giant rip in the AHL too. Until he got hurt. So if you're citing injuries as a thing with Vilardi....... Also, Rasmussen's two way game is going to make him a winner. Vilardi's the second coming of Kyle Wellwood. But you already have your mind made up, so let the confirmation bias rollllll.
-
IF it's 3rd line, it's at C with Veleno on his wing yep. Also, how is it again that Vilardi is finally "emerging" ? Lol Also also, Rasmussen had a major hand injury and a back injury in 2 of his last three seasons. And the season he was mostly healthy he was asked to play in the NHL as a 19 year old. But somehow his fate is sealed as a non-top six forward yet your L.A. boy is going to be a 1st liner while having done absolutely eff all since his draft year. Good one!
-
Happy Canada Day to my fellow Hosers. A little sad that we don't have any UFA signings to complain about today. With respect to our current D prospects, I think history has shown that we can only realistically expect that maybe 2 of them become legit NHLers. So Seider + one of Cholowski, McIsacc, Tuomisto, Lidstrom, Johansson, etc. If you're napkinning a lineup that includes 2 or 3 guys beyond Seider you're doing it wrong.
-
And I think the gap between Lafreniere and Raymond/Perfetii/Rossi isn't as wide as some people have been (hyping) saying.
-
LOL The same Stamkos and Hedman that were unanimous #1 and top 3 respectively? You call that good drafting? I call that checking a box. Would be like crediting Bergevin for taking Lafreniere. I The middle
-
I'm hoping for Kucherovs and Points, and even Palats. I've said it before but this is the path to glory. Good drafting outside of the first round. Specifically mid-second onward.
