When this team wins the cup in 8 years and big Ras is an unstoppable playoff force, you won't care where he was picked. It's like making chowder. Sometimes you get a good deal on clams but you overpay for haddock. As long as the soup is delicious and you meet your general budget, who cares.

I think both players are close. This was never in question. One for one trade would have been cause for great debate. Throw in the 1st and 2nd and it's a fleecing. Like it seriously is.

I'll say this again. If Rasmussen slots as 3C on any future roster then this said roster is destined for a bounty of Stanley Cups. I don't care about Veleno. Maybe he'll be a good winger. -
