So if after all the regular season games are over there is a tie for the 8th spot, what are the tiebreakers? I know that the most wins is one of them. Can someone post all of them in order? Like... 1. Most wins 2. ??? , etc...

Ok, so I have been unable to see the Wings for the last 3 weeks. The first game I missed was the one where Lilja came back. Can anyone sum up how the Wings have played, how Lilja has done, who has been hot and cold, what has improved and what still needs to be worked on?

If the Lakers and Kings can do it the Wings and Pistons can. However, there would have to be serious upgrades to the place in order for the fans to like it. I would rather have a dedicated arena just for the Wings, but it looks less and less like that will happen. The Joe is the Wings' arena, it is decorated as such, there are shrines inside the place. The chairs are red. The jerseys and banners are all Red Wings. When you go there for a game you are 100% immersed in Red Wings. To look up in the rafters and see a Joe Dumars jersey across from Howe's would lessen the experience IMO. My choice, spend a few million dollars and upgrade the Joe (start with the bathrooms ) and stay put. With the MI economy as it is I really don't see a new 300 million dollar arena being built downtown.

You know who else is bad for Canada?

The US has a good balance of offensive and defensive players. They are by FAR the best team Canada has played. Canada played with the same tempo they played with against the previous "lesser" teams until there was 5 minutes left in the game when they actually played like they had a challenger. The US was the better team.

Created this the last time they played in the playoffs. Still applies today.

I hate the way he makes tape to tape passes to open players on the other side of an empty net on the powerplay. Jeez, watch a beginners video will ya! You're supposed to shoot the puck at the net when you are that close to the goalie at an impossible angle. WTF IS WRONG WITH HIM!!!

He is making 1.5 million dollars. He is a goalie-view-blocker on the second PP unit. And he is good at overtime and the shootout (although not used enough). What exactly do you want from him? More shots, OK, give him more time on the ice with Pavel and Hank, but I think he should be on the second line with Cleary and Flip, and I don't think he'll get as many chances to succeed with those two AND he has the 2ND MOST SHOTS ON THE TEAM. He's not fast enough? Neither is Homer, and they are comparable in most stats but no one rails on him in every thread. Doesn't use his size enough? He has the 5th most hits on the team. He gives the puck away too much? Well, yes, he is 3rd in giveaways... behind Datsyuk and Rafalski. But he has a few more takeaways than Rafalski. I don't know where he is really failing.

He had 2 games in a row where he got the OT winner. He also now plays on the second line with Cleary and Flip, not Dats and Z. That is all.

I love the Red Wings injuries descriptions. How many ways can you say "he might play"? Possible, probable, questionable. Anyway, Wings 3 (Franz, Dats, Flip) Sens 2 (who cares)
