Well, the ref couldn't see that the puck was in the net. If the sensor trips the goal light, he may not blow the whistle thinking it's under Auld's pads.

A few ways to solve this: Coach's Challenge- NFL style, go directly to Toronto. Puck/Line Sensor- Review it and if the sensor went off then goal. This was discussed after a game a few days ago. Eliminate the "I thought about blowing the whistle." If you didn't blow it or weren't in the MOTION to blow it, then it counts. PERIOD!

No to Shanny. No to Fedorov. No to Meech. Yes to Lidstrom. Probably to Ozzie (another Cup or the Wings all-time wins record and it becomes a Yes.)

Any team that wins the Cup in 7 games doesn't deserve to be called one of the "greatest" teams. 4 or 5 games to win the Cup means "dominance" of the other team.

A. Age has nothing to do with it. If he's on the ice, he's on the ice. I don't care if his mommy signed a permission slip to get him out there. B. He saw him coming. Brace yourself, he ain't gonna stop. C. No elbow, he did it Kronner style by tucking his elbows down and exploding up on contact and using his forearms to "shove" the checkee into the boards. D. Tie your helmet down correctly.

Here's my opinion on Homer. Against a team with big defensemen on the PK he is on the edge of the crease, no exceptions. He's the best at what he does. If we have our goalie pulled, he is on the edge of the crease while Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Lidstrom, Rafalski, and another forward pass the puck looking for the best shot. Anything else he does is a bonus.

If we were 30-15 and went through a 4-4-2 rut no one would be freaking out. Just try to look at it as getting it out of the way early.

Ugh, I hate playing the Nucks. We either lose stupidly or barely win. And with the current status of each team... Wings 3 (anyone will do) Nucks 2 (just not Sammy)

Holy hell, that will never happen again. And if I would have went with logic on the Wings/Avs game I would have been alone at the top.
