I will not vote, the topic is not specific enough. Yes, he will make a move. But will it matter, no.

If we don't get Hossa or Jokinen, we're done. Dallas, Anaheim, and even Colorado will all be better offensively than us. And those offenses will also be better than our defense.

My worry button has been pressed with the whole secondary scoring issue now. I can't see any players that can help us that are not named Marion Hossa. Prospal, Fedorov, Satan, and Jagr are nice names to throw around; but a solution they are not. At this point, I would give ATL Hudler, Flip, and Sammy (that's right, the entire second line) with a pick or prospect to get Hossa. We have Downey to keep a spot and we can pick up some depth guys from lower teams with picks and prospects. Just get Hossa, and then solve the other problems. But Montreal and Ottawa apparently have a better shot than we do.

I don't wish him dead. That is reserved for people who wish others dead. But a series of injuries where he misses games is always great news when it's Pronger. He giveth and he should receive.

He would take Downey's place, since Drake already has taken Downey's place before. 4th line Lapointe-Kopy-Drake Not horrible, but Downey is a really well liked guy and has proved he knows what his role is. I would be hesitant to give his spot to anyone that isn't a legitimate heavyweight enforcer.

He's also the Canadian Lidstrom. Why would they suspend their favorite defenseman? He obviously plays the game as it should be played and to suspend his innovative style of play would be a set back to the game. However, if a player were to do the same to him they would be suspended for intent to injure a national icon. I wish I were the person in charge of suspensions. Every questionable play would be reviewed and every player would know that plays like that would cost you time and money. 5 games, $15,000 USD.

Franzen is a ghost, he doesn't do what he needs to with the puck and seems to just float around waiting for a pass instead of grinding for the puck.

Ditto. I would love to see Hossa locked up 4-5 years by Tuesday. IMO, he is the answer to the offensive question. The defensive question is a harder one. Foote, Sutton, Jackman, and whoever else could fill the void of "big guy on the blueline" is an issue that doesn't get as much discussion; but with our top 4 D out it is a lot bigger of late. Anyway, GET HOSSA A.S.A.P. KENNY!!!

Yes, but since last summer was lacking in UFA signings that were deemed huge, the Wings need those signings now. IMO, we broke even in the summer and we need to gain ground now. The Ducks got bigger and stronger in the summer and are going to do it again now. Wings need to do the same. Keeping up with the Jones.

Both are available IMO. We'll offer Huds, they want Flip. They'll get Flip, a prospect, and a pick and we get a Cup.
