Homer is pissed. Expect him around the crease CONSTANTLY. I mean, even during a face-off. Wings 4 (Homer x2, Z, Kopper) Preds 1 (who cares)

Not new news, but I think the 3 players at the bottom are looking more and more impossible to get. Hossa would be the BEST pickup since he could run the 2nd line and be the sniper on the 2nd PP unit we DESPERATELY need. Blake, I was a big supporter, but the injury and the lack of physicality in the pugilism department makes me want to pass in order to an enforcer on the blueline.

Wouldn't give up anything but a low prospect or a pick for him. But, he is a tough guy and doesn't back down. He can fight and he is a grinder. Would be a good pick up if cheap, but we can do better I think. Would only replace Downey or Drake and we need a scorer. And replacing Downey would ruffle a lot of feathers in FanLand after the Parros fight.

It would count. I've seen goals where a player would be hit and end up with the puck under him and crashes into the net and the goal counts. In fact, there is an Av's goal like it in the March 26, 1997 game. Forget who scored it though, but he crashed into Vernon and the goal counted.

As much as I want Feds back, Kopper is a high price. He is big, uses his body, and one day may be a tough guy to play against. He impressed me against Anaheim. He has hands too. But, Sergei does potentially bring a LOT that we are missing.

Sounds like they will be NOT be cancelling the game. Colin Campbell is there to watch his son play and he is the NHL official being talked to by the refs, as well as the coaches. Just announced to the crowd. Stable and on way to hospital.

That kind of call happens EVERY game in the NHL. Phantom calls are no coincidence. BUT, when goals and points get taken away...

We do need more in the NHL. The McGeoughs and O'Hallorans of the NHL are pissing fans off with bad, game altering calls. They should not be the be all-end all of the outcome of the game.
