No, I went to the members list, opened the 'toggle more options' and set the date joined thing to one day after my b-day and just changed the year each time (2002-2006) and it shows the people that joined on the days before that day from each year. Just make sure to set it to descending.

No, it's counter productive to bash an injured player. Let's bash a healthy one. Osgood, I'm looking at you. BTW, as per site rules, you joined on my birthday, so I legally own you.

Good job Holland. For what he brings it's a good price.

Out of Market for tomorrows game? Too bad...

The funny thing is that there is 4 hours of pre-reace and then 1 minute of action, and then another hour of analysis. -
Welcome to the NEW NHL!!!!

Exactly. We got a 6'3" 245lb potential monster for a lifetime 2nd stringer. If will only be shortchanged if they resign him for more than $3.5/million a year.

Wings v. Sabres- the 2 best records should be in the finals for once. Wings v. Ottawa- what does Canada have to cheer for unless thi shappens? Wings v. Rangers- WE DON'T NEED YOU SHANNY!!! -
True. His hands are still there. When he put that puck in the roof over Kipper from like 3 feet in front of him, all the doubt about him losing his touch washed away in my mind. That was an incredible goal, most of the Wings would have had the puck on the ice or in his chest.

If we put Yzerman in righ tnow whould he be better than Cleary or Maltby? Cause this is what this thread is about. Putting a rusty player coming off a HUGE injury/surgery and expecting him to be our best physical player. HE MISSED 7 MONTHS!!! He was able to get in a few games before the end of the season and then got a CONCUSSION. I hope we resign him just so he gets a chance to get closer to 100% to shut all the "he's too soft" nay-sayers mouths next season.

This is just leftist propaganda. I heard he ate a baby once.

I forgot about that thing.

Not sure either, but if you play 1 game in the Finals, you are on the Cup if your team wins. See Mike Ramsey in 97.

I think they are called that because everyone hates them except the Wings fans. Not because of the money.
-
Well, if you want more of a theorhetical answer. Here's mine. They play Anaheim 8 times and Anaheim is better than them because they play the same style with a better goalie.
-
Top teams in each division get top 3 seeds (Detroit, Anaheim, Vancouver). Nashville had a better record than San Jose, so, SJ is 5th.
-
My original prediction was Wings in 6. So I am on pace for it and I still think it can happen.
-
He had no chance on both of the goals. He has been solid. With the exception of the giveaway to Thornton he has made no HUGE mistakes.

Here's a quick and dirty one. Left room for icons. 1024 x 768

The funny thing is that it's not creative AT ALL. The Octopus has a reason, 8 wins to win the Cup (when the tradition started). And even the inferior one, the Florida Panthers rubber rat, it has some meaning behind it. This however, is dumb and pointless. Yeah, I threw a dead symbol of my team on the ice after cartin git around in my pants. Also, that shark has to way at least 4 times as much as an average octopus. I think I would rather carry the mollusk in my pants.

I hate to say it, but Game 4 might as well be Game 7 for the Wings. As much faith as I have in them to not lose 4 times in 7 games or less, the SJ Sharks are playing a different game than the Wings on the ice. Yes, the Wings have not played a 60 min game each time that they lost and Dom has let in some questionable goals (God the one that squeaked in past his skate, glove, and post gave me a stroke) and the passing has been terrible and the shots should come from much closer and flukey goals have kept us alfloat. BUT, the Wings HAVE to win Game 4 in order to pull off a series victory. A 3-1 defacit is worse than some think it is. If they lose Wednesday, they will have to win 3 games in a row against a team that has lost only 1 regular season game and 1 playoff game against the #1 team in the West and eliminated the "bad-ass" Predators in 5 games. The prospect of winning a 2-2 series is much more promising. They are able to win 2 of 3, especially since 2 would be at JLA. And with the return of Homer, our PP and 1st line will have more consistancy. Nabokov has not had to deal with an "elite" net-crasher/screener so far in this series or vs. Trashville. Bert gave him some problems with vision, but he didn't do his job picking up rebounds or making deflections. Plus (and this is a HUGE plus), Homer is not afraid of standing in front of a slap-shot and keeping his eye on the puck (I think Bert turns away to see where the rebound goes, while Homer watches the puck all the time). So if they do win Game 4, their odds are good. However, if they lose, they may have too deep of a hole to climb out of.
