That 9-4 win came with 5-6 PP goals (can't remember which). That won't happen with the new Wings. Plus, if the Sharks get 10 PP opportunites, the Wings will get the same amount. Cause it's the playoffs and the playoffs always have fair officiating. Wings in 6

I attribute my low score to the facts that: A. I didn't get my ballot in on time, although I had not watched the game that had already started. B. I only watch the Wings, and therefore didn't know anything about how the teams play against each other. But had some knowledge based on how they play the Wings. C. Tried to guess some blowouts as opposed to tightly contested affairs. Next round WILL be different. I expect top be in the Top 10.

According to that site, they are now somewhere near Green Bay, WI. Travelling at 505 knots at 35000 feet and will land in approx. 45 min.

The only way that we face a better goalie than Kipper is if VAN wins tonight and then beats ANA and we get by SJ. The we deal with Roberto. And the only way we face a goalie better than Luongo is if we get by Luongo and play Brodeur. If the Wings do beat Kipper, Nabokov/Toskala, Luongo, and Brodeur; they are the best scoring play-off team EVER.

I agree. Although Malt's has wisened with age and takes less bad calls and gets more penalties called in his favor. But Cleary also does that well. The only thing Malts has that Dano lacks is SUPERB PK ability, although Dan is no slouch. No one is better in the NHL without a stick than Kirk Maltby. You can quote me on that. -
I'm pretty sure that suspensions don't count in the preseason, but I have been wrong before. I think the first 4 of the regular season is what will happen.

DING DING DING! We have a winner. I think Calder's grinding style is more needed for game 6 that Sammy or Lang's float-and-hope-for-an-easy-one-timer style. Although Sammy has showed some grit lately (putting Iginlame's face in the boards comes to mind, and not to mention the Anaheim game at the end of the season).

Good to see this thread back up. Knowing how the Wings youth plays (Flip, Huds, Lebda) I am encouraged. Quincey is a big body and a physical player. Hopefully he is fired up and will elevate his game and lay some cheap f***ers out. -

Jesus Christ I hope that is sarcasm. If not, you are the dumbest poster on the boards. I have a feeling it is because of the bolded passages. Lebda has a concussion by the way, and it's not from the hip check.
