This Stanley Cup victory should clinch a spot for him in the HHOF in my opinion!
-
Hope you enjoy it

thread

I don't like him either. I hope he doesn't get traded to Colorado

I am getting anxious
-
You gonna have your cake, and eat it too?
-
Wow thats funny

Honestly you don't need to panic right now. Its only 12:30, there is still plenty of time, and remember some of the best trades are going to take longer to make. I still see Holland doing at least something.

Garret Stafford recalled by the Wings

He is having a good year and deserves his chance, but I wish it wouldn't be right now. Our defense now looks like an AHL lineup. -
Kevin Allen discussion on Wings deadline moves
Grind_Lines_#1_Fan replied to 2probert4's topic in General
I don't want Stuart to come to the Wings for the reasons you mentioned. Prior to this horrible & embarrassing losing skid, I would've been fine if we didn't do anything, but that appears to longer be an option. -
holy back from the dead thread.....I thought he got suspended again but I know he isn't back yet

Zednik's throat cut by teammate's skate

Haven't seen it, but obviously hopefully he is alright -
I am right, this is just a suggestion, and not a rumor, correct? Its hard to tell the difference anymore. A player similar to Tucker would be fine, but he makes too much money.

I think Jets tastes better than Little Ceasars

If it aint broke don't fix it....Ken Holland wouldn't bring in 4 new players at the deadline. Fedorov has a concussion right now, and quite frankly I don't want him back...Mac, I love the guy but I don't see him coming back this season if at all...Sundin, I guess its possible, but word is he wants to stay in Toronto...Forsberg, I seriously think he is done in the NHL, maybe altogether. I would like to see the Wings make a move before the deadline, but nothing to drastic. Right around now is when teams on "the bubble" so to speak need to decide if they can contend or plan for next season. Thankfully the Wings are in a situation, where they don't have to make that decision, and its obvious. Holland said he would like to improve what is already on the roster, but I won't be shocked or disappointed if nothing happens

I bet there probably aren't too many guys that can say that. Great thread, some that I haven't seen be mentioned yet September 30, 2006: Montreal trades Mike Ribeiro and a 6th round pick in 2008 to Dallas for Janne Niinimaa and a 5th round pick in 2007 (Andrew Conboy) June 24, 2006: Colorado trades Alex Tanguay to Calgary for Jordan Leopold, and 2nd round picks in 2006 (Codey Burki) and 2007 (Trevor Cann) March 8, 2006: Montreal trades Jose Theodore to Colorado for David Aebischer August 2, 2005: St. Louis trades Chris Pronger to Edmonton for Eric Brewer, Doug Lynch and Jeff Woywitka January 20, 2004: Philadelphia trades Justin Williams to Carolina for Danny Markov November 16, 2003: San Jose trades Miikka Kiprusoff to Calgary for 2nd round pick in 2005 (Marc-Edouard Vlasic) March 23, 1999: Chicago trades Chris Chelios to Detroit for Anders Eriksson, 1st round picks in 1999 (Steve McCarthy) and 2001 (Adam Munro) March 18, 1997: Edmonton trades Miroslav Satan to Buffalo for Barrie Moore and Craig Millar November 27, 1996: Ottawa trades Pavol Demitra to St. Louis for Christer Olsson October 10, 1984: Detroit trades Murray Craven and Joe Paterson to Philadelphia for Darryl Sittler June 23, 1975: Detroit trades Marcel Dionne and Bart Crashley to Los Angeles for Terry Harper, Dan Maloney, and 2nd round pick in 1976 (later traded to Minnesota; Jim Roberts) July 23, 1957: Detroit trades Ted Lindsay and Glenn Hall to Chicago for Johnny Wilson, Forbes Kennedy, Hank Bassen and Bill Preston

That made Colorado an instant champion

Great idea to make it just one thread, but I don't see it lasting too long that way...Lets see, I think the Wings could use a D-man that is powerful, how about a guy like Jason Smith, who imo is the most underrated player in the NHL. The only problem is the Flyers are actually having a great season, and will probably make the playoffs. Another guy that I would like to see us get is Hal Gill from Toronto.

Make that 2 million years! This thread is so comical, thanks for posting!

Exactly, Possible candidate doesn't mean hired..Unless, the rules have been changed..............

I can tell you that its not just you, as a Wings fan I don't see any of those guys leaving here for Toronto. This has been discussed in previous years on this board..Holland, Nill, Yzerman and Bowman to Toronto? NO it isn't going to happen, and it pisses me off, that TSN even thinks there is a distinct possibility in the matter. NO NO NO NO all of them are here, want to be here and will remain here. Now, Toronto has sucked for 40+years and there is no way in HELL that any of those guys will leave the situation here for that s***ty team. Toronto is going to have to live with the retreads of GMs (Neil Smith anyone?), for now, because I don't see them winning for a long time! What I would like to know, is why did the Leafs keep JFJ that long? Actually I wanna know why they hired him in the first place?

A few years ago, I wanted us to get him. It might have been when we got Hatcher? Now, forget about it. Could it happen? Most definetly, just not likely
-
Thats generally true, but the Devils retired Ken Daneyko #3 a few years back, and I just don't see him going to the HOF. He is probably one of the best stay at home DMAN of all-time though
-
Someone just offered me Brad Boyes and Henrik Sedin for Vincent Lecavlier. I wasn't going to accept it, but I wanted to make sure its a bad trade first. What should I do? Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think there is a good reason to question whether Brodeur is going to the Hall, and if there is I would like to hear the reason. I agree with the posters that don't get that HOF feeling when it comes to Ozzie. The reason I posted this, was becuase Ken and Mick were talking about Ozzie's stats during the game last night, and I definetly thought it was a topic worth a debate, and hadn't seen anything on here. I believe he is 15th all time in wins, and I think everyone ahead of him is either in or not eligible yet, so he should get in.
