really? I know Boyes is on pace to score like 40 goals, but is H. Sedin having a good year?
-
I didn't see that on, but I am sure it will be on again. I have Comcast too (I live in Westland). To get it on Comcast, you have to pay for the sports-tier though. I have had NHL Network for a good 4-5 weeks, I think. NHL on the Fly is great, with all the old games and stuff.

Does anyone know where I can get a Markov jersey?
Grind_Lines_#1_Fan replied to wingsrock34's topic in General
Yeah he played pretty good, but in NO WAY is he a popular player after he demanded the kind of money he did. Good luck...P.S. you could try Fanatic-U if you live by Garden City at Ford between Middlebelt & Merriman -
that fight was the best I have ever seen from Sid-the-kid. A kid with as much talent and upside as him, and that is the best thing I have ever seen him do
-
That was the point I was trying to get at but I was too young so I had to go by my Dad who can't stand Melrose so I couldn't ask him....lol
-
What does he honestly have against the Wings? A couple reasons could be, I think he was a Maple Leafs fan growing up. Another could be he didn't get much of a chance to play here and maybe just maybe he thinks he should have had a shot to coach here, because of how he coached at Adirondack. By absolutely no means am I saying that I like Barry Melrose, but I think he is allowed to hate the Red Wings, if he so chooses to.

Our Guys UFA: Nicklas Lidstrom-give him 2 more years at $12/y Kris Draper-He signed Dominik Hasek-Even if he still wants to play next year don't bring him back Chris Chelios-If he wants to play he'll be back here Andreas Lilja-I say its 50/50 but they should bring him back Chris Osgood-depends Daniel Cleary-give him 2+years Dallas Drake-probably retire RFA: Igor Grigorenko-he aint coming back so whatever Valtteri Filppula, Jimmy Howard, Kyle Quincey, Jonathan Ericsson-lock them up long term (3+) while they are relatively cheap Logan Koopmans-WHO? Ryan Oulahen-struggling in minors I believe Other Teams: Sergei Fedorov-He owes us fans something for leaving like that and played for Babcock Todd Fedoruk-one word ENFORCER Bryan Smolinski-From Michigan, probably a little pricy though Sean Avery-likeable tough guy that never wanted to leave Detroit

Ducks could trade Schneids if Neidermeyer returns

interesting.............. -
I enjoy the sense of humor of John Keating, and happen to think he does a good job with the Wings, and with the Tigers. If no one else likes him, it doesn't matter because FSN Detroit likes him enough to have kept him around for the entire history of the network.

NHL Network 'very close' to launching in America.

Anyone on Comcast have it yet? I know Comcast will be getting it, but did it launch yet? -
Which active player will have his jersey retired?
Grind_Lines_#1_Fan replied to timothy1997's topic in General
The names that come to mind are Lidstrom (Detroit), Modano (Dallas) and Brodeur (NJ), Iginla (Calgary), Sundin (Toronto), Roenick? Amonte? Belfour? (Chicago) and then some younger players like Ovechkin (Washington), Crosby (Pittsburgh), Zach Parise (NJ) and Ryan Getzlaf (Anaheim) would have a chance, but you just don't know....Also I think everyone on this board is tired of this whose number will be retired. -
I know in the past Griffins games have been shown on Comcast Local, and I just got Comcast recently and was wondering when I would get to see a game...Also I know it shouldn't be in here, but when is the NHL Network going to launch?
-
Ok, it makes sense to show some games when they matter anyways.
-
SJ/FLO but I voted for SJ/VAN
-
Didn't realize Ryno was 6'4, can't wait till he gets here
-
It wasn't anything important really, just mostly stuff about Training Camp.

Should Sergei Fedorov's number be retired in the future?
Grind_Lines_#1_Fan replied to Chaldean's topic in General
The question is Should it be retired? I say yes....But what should be asked her is will it be retired? Here I say no, because of the rare honor it takes to have a retired number around here! In any other city it would be, but not in Motown...Sorry Sergei, as if he even cares -
heres another source Yahoo Sports article

Actually to be honest, I think the Tour de France gets better ratings then the NHL on Versus by a longshot. I don't watch it, but a lot of people do.........
-
As a Grind Line supporter (such as myself), that goal was a true unforgetable beauty!

For me the announcers are a part of the game. For example, I can't stand Andy Brickley, but when we got him last year a couple of times, I lived with it anyway, because the announcers are so important to me. I really miss the combo of Thorne-Clement-Davidson for ABC
