Yes he did

I met him one time at Eddie Edgar Ice Arena in Livonia at a Wings Alumni Game vs. the Livonia Police Department. He was playing center for the LPD and got a hat trick. I got his autograph at the end of the game. Manny is a great guy, and its nice to seem him doing something like this. total class act for sure.

I know its still about a week early, but here is the list I found of the "Unrestricted Free Agents." I made some changes myself (i.e; Arnason, Recchi, Giguere), but probably forgot some people. Grind_Lines_#1_Fan replied to haroldsnepsts's topic in General
I could think of better names then that Disappoinments Fred Williams: 4th overall; 1976; 44 GP in NHL Mike Blaisdell: 11th overall; 1980; 343 GP in NHL (192 with Wings) Brent Fedyk: 8th overall; 1985; 470 GP in NHL (155 with Wings) Kory Kocur: 17th overall; 1988; 0 GP in NHL; 146 GP in AHL Curtis Bowen: 22nd overall; 1992; O GP in NHL; 145 in AHL -
There is hardly any difference between them. Also, if someone on this site wanted to blame "Biteman" for something, they would.

First of all, welcome to LGW.com and second of all, why would we do that, plus why would Philly trade their best young d-man and #2 pick overall for Datsyuk and his new 7 year deal. If we were planning on trading Datsyuk, we would have one either done it, by now or never would have gave him such a contract. He is a large piece of our future, as well as Pitkanen is for Philly.
-
Never heard of them, but nice stats. Do they plan on playing together?

Drury a shark?!?!? Marleu a Canadien?!?!?!?!
Grind_Lines_#1_Fan replied to scotvm's topic in General
San Jose is probably MUCH better off with Marleau then they would be with Drury. Both of those guys can rack up the points, while the Canadiens don't really have that one guy that does that. I could see a trade like this happening soon, but I doubt the Canadiens would be involved. -
Does this mean everyone MUST make at least one post per week, in order to keep their account from getting deleted?
-
Good Riddance He will surely NOT be missed
-
This made my day Alexei Yashin to the Islanders was the best thing that EVER happened to the Ottawa Senators. The Islanders got rid of him, so why do we want their garbage? Why would anyone wan't that garbage? Or that contract?
-
Thats a whole lot of money, that he would never get from us. Good for him.
-
I can remember following the Wings during the 2nd finals win and I am only 15. Go Wings!

Heres what we got under contract Nick Lidstrom-7.6 million Pavel Datsyuk-6.7 million Nicklas Kronwall-3 million Henrik Zetterberg-2.65 million Tomas Holmstrom-2.25 million Kris Draper-2.1 million Mikael Samuelsson-1.2 million Andreas Lilja-1 million Johan Franzen-941,666 Kirk Maltby-888,333 Chris Osgood-850,000 Valtteri Filppula-710,000 Dan Cleary-662,000 Brett Lebda-650,000 Kyle Quincey-510,000 Tomas Kopecky-450,000 Totals-32,161,999 Cap-44,000,000 (I believe) Room-11,838,001 Our Potential FA's Mathieu Schneider-will depend on salary, wants about 3.3 million and that aint happening Danny Markov-Wings interested in keeping him if price is within reason Chris Chelios-will be welcomed back if interested Robert Lang-if we lose out on Bertuzzi......it won't matter haha he's gone Todd Bertuzzi-chances of coming back are good, but will likely test market Kyle Calder-not likely to be back Dominik Hasek-will be welcomed back if interested Jiri Hudler (RFA)-restricted, will most likely except qualifying offer one player I could see in a Wings uniform is Slava Kozlov.

Guerin would be a good pickup, but after seeing what the Blues got for Tkachuk, I am afraid what we would have to give up for him. Also trading within the division is not something you do. I would be much happier with a guy like Gary Roberts or JR. They would probably only want a draft pick for these guys and they have one year deals.

My Order 1. Mickey Redmond 2. Ken Kal 3. Dan Dickerson 4. Mario Impemba 5. George Blaha 6. Ken Daniels 7. Rod Allen 8. Greg Kelser 9. Larry Murphy 10. Jim Price

Is there any real deals going around that is worth anyones time around here, because I don't know how many times I have seen a rumor surrounding Pavel Datsyuk and Robert Lang! How many times have you seen Patrick Marleau to the Wings on here or Forsberg or Nabokov or Gagne or Souray or Samsonov? That sounds like an all star team to me.
-
Who knows where I can find a list of FSN Detroit people?
-
To me it seemed like forever, I guess its cause we got knocked out early. I don't know, It just seemed long to me.
-
I would like to see Biron here, via trade. Possibly even Ed Belfour, he would be a risk, but it could be worth it.

Did you guys hear he got arrested again?Maurice Clarrett Article

I voted for Oakland, but I was having a tough time deciding whether to vote for Toronto, Seattle, Tampa Bay or Baltimore and I decided to go with Oakland. -
50-55 wins I think.

You gotta give the edge to Nick. I believe that Vladdy would have been great too, preventing his sad automobile accident.
