  1. Officially we don't know what the schedule is

Columbus, St. Louis, Nashville, Chicago-8 times each (4 home, 4 away)

Colorado, Edmonton, Minnesota, Vancouver, Calgary, San Jose, Dallas, Anaheim, Los Angeles, Pheonix-4 times each (2 home, 2 away)

We play 2 full divisions in the east 1 time I believe for a total of 10

    Game Total

    Divisional Games-32

    Inner-Conference Games-40

    Outer Conference Games-10

    Total-82

  2. Does anyone have ESPN Insider, to tell me what Markov would get from Pitt (money, years)? I would say from what I have heard (4 mil, 3 years) even though I wouldn't give it to him. Any other sources that say Markov to the Pens?

  3. I'd like to see Bertuzzi back but it's not the end of the world if he signs elsewhere. He's a big risk and I don't blame Holland one bit for not wanting him long-term. Back injuries don't just go away, neither does that emotional baggage.

Guerin, Kozlov, and Zubrus are the guys I'd be looking at if something can't be worked out with Bertuzzi.

I agree with you on that it wouldn't be the end if we don't get Bert back. I like Guerin, Kozlov and Zubrus is kind of underrated if you ask me. I wouldn't mind seeing Shanny come back either. Screw Markov, we don't need him. We have Rafalski, Lidstrom, Chelios, Lilja, Lebda, Kronwall and Quincey, which is 7. Forwards we have Zetterberg, Datsyuk, Holmstrom, Maltby, Draper, Cleary, Samuelsson, Filppula, Kopecky, Franzen and hopefully Hudler. This gives us 11. If a team wants to take a chance on Bertuzzi and give him a multi-year deal, let them. We can just get someone else.

  4. I never played when I was younger because I was such a piss-poor skater. Eventually I got jealous of my roommate playing twice a week, so I signed up for the Never/Ever league in Ann Arbor. My first season I did absolutely nothing (0-0--0, 0 PIMs) and we made the championship game, but lost (the officiating was poor enough that the game was stopped so the head of the league could ***** out the refs, and they both got fired after the game). The next season I got new (lighter) skates and I led my team in goals, but we were terrible. Then the next season we got custom jerseys, had custom pucks made up for our home games, and even had a mascot come to our championship game. We ended up winning and it was an absolute blast. I played 1 more season in Ann Arbor and I just started my first season since moving to Madison. 1-0-1 so far! I sliced my hand open on my skate last week...that was sweet.

The highlight of my young hockey career though? Playing at Joe Louis in the CCHA Media Game. I had an assist and we won something like 9-2.

You played at JLA, good for you, but man

  5. I like this pick, he is 6-1, 170 pounds, he is gritty and he wears 14. He does too much with the puck, but a great skater. This pick sounds good to me.

I put him behind Quincey, Ericcson, Kindl and Meech. He will be here by 2011 for sure.

  6. I met him one time at Eddie Edgar Ice Arena in Livonia at a Wings Alumni Game vs. the Livonia Police Department. He was playing center for the LPD and got a hat trick. I got his autograph at the end of the game. Manny is a great guy, and its nice to seem him doing something like this. total class act for sure.
