Stupid pass, hit was devastating but it looked clean. I'm totally confused by the penalty? I've never heard of a 5 minute penalty for interference??? And a game misconduct for interference? I hate those kinda hits because they can end a career legal or not.

But gee whiz, he don't even make 4M, it's fine if he only shows up when he wants to. If he put effort into every game we wouldn't be able to afford him. -
If that is true then why doesn't Huet's 5.625M cap hit count against Chicago's Cap?

His cap hit is a bargain. when and if, he decides to play. However paying a player 5 million per year to play only when he feels like it is not a bargain in my opinion. He's scoring now but I still have no respect for him as a player because of his attitude.

That's because he is green with envy. I have to agree with you though he really rubs me the wrong way because of his unabashed favoritism when it comes to the opposing teams the Wings play, especially Chicago and Pittsburgh.

Agreed and I will do the same if they resign Cleary for anymore than league minimum. Actually I would prefer if Cleary never plays another game as a Wing.

And Franzen is a ***** that doesn't have to earn his ice time. And Cleary is useless And White sucks None of which is new and as long as Babcock refuses to make Veteran players on this team EARN their ice time, NOTHING will change.

They're both a waste of money. Don't think they could even compete in a yoyo competition without getting a concussion or losing half their teeth.

The real question is , what time does the Red Wings GAME start. I shook my head when Kronwall and the Norris Trophy was mentioned and there he is in all his glory. The guy is always a brain FART waiting to happen.

Tatar would be a better choice than Cleary, who in my opinion has become totally irrelevant. When Cleary first came to Detroit he played a hard passionate game, now it seems as though he thinks he's a star and working the corners is beneath him.

I really liked the guy awesome player, great skater . But he could have been an absolute beast if he could have gotten past his, second fiddle syndrome about playing on the same team as Yzerman. Had he done that he would have stayed a Wing and his sweater would have it's place hanging at the Joe.
