Yes, because that was Holland who broke Andersson's foot, Jurco's ribs, cut Abby's leg, gave Helm the egg-shell gene, etc. Or it's Babcock's for having Andersson blocks shots. Or for telling Jurco to "skate really hard into Comeau's stick". There are lot's of things to be upset about when it comes to the "wings brass", but blaming these injuries on Holland, Babcock, Jimmy D, Illitch, etc is just spoiled fan entitlement personified.

Yeah. Red Wing peeps like to make these comparisons. Jurco’s been compared to Hossa. Backman to Edler Pulkinnen to Hull Mantha to Vanek And on and on. To tired and lazy to post links. It’s like music. When a band gets compared to Led Zeppelin, it doesn’t mean they are as good. Jarnkrok will be nowhere as good as Z. -
Sheahan is out of waiver options next year. Like Tatar was this year. I know we all hate Ken Holland but unless you’re unaware of next year’s logistics, your statement seems a little over the top.

There's a lot of technical mumbo-jumbo to sift through there but I can only assume that the draft changes will benifit Chicago and Pittsburgh and somehow screw the non-playoff teams a bit now that The Wings may be one of them.

After this barf bag of a season, Holland's #1 MO above all else this summer should be to not sign any guys who have a reputation of being injury-prone. Guys like Michalek, Hemsky, Gaborik, and Markov (although amazingly, he's played 69 this year)
