I wouldn't do it. I'm liking where we're sitting at 15 compared to who might be there at 18. The mocks are all over the place though compared to previous years. There are 25 kids that have been listed as top 15 picks which tells me no one has a handle on this years crop.

Islanders and Chicago swap 2024 picks. I find it strange to make this kind of deal before the draft considering the Hawks won't know who's available when they pick. Unless they've done their big draft board and they think only 18 kids worth picking in the 1st round. NYI get 20, 54, 61 Hawks get 18, 50

I really like Iginla, but he's probably going 6-8 and I don't want to spit up our future 1sts for him when there are some tough fast kids available. I'm hoping SY lets the draft come to him as there's always a couple of guys that fall. No Zadina jokes please....lol

I liked Mazur and BearGrin on the first goal by Czarnik. Both keep their head up and make smart plays. The next couple of years could be fun in Detroit.

Watched a couple of games of the U18 and by far the best kid on the ice for any team was Gavin McKenna. He played on a line with Tij Iginla who Calgary will probably draft before we get a chance to. This kid isn't draft eligible until 2026.... gonna be a tonne of tanking for this guy.

Really pissing the kid and agent off or losing him for nothing? Wad dup SY? Missed the game, but just saw the 10 min highlight. Seider finally fights. Pro: He actually does have hands beneath those mitts. Con: Now the league knows he will drop them if they get him riled enough. I hate losing the kid for 5 minutes, opposition loves it. He better learn to fight because if the next opponent can actually scrap, Seider could be in trouble.
