The facts can be your friend. Embrace logic. Live long and prosper o strange one

When I google that, it said the earth is flat.

LOL. I acknowledge and respect that you are a Mastur-duh-bator, however, comparing a rule change to benefit the zebra's offside efficiency is a little slim compared to the league trying for parity by stopping the Oilers from inciting coincidental minor penalties to their advantage. Gretzky was a killer. McDuff is still pretty good. Your turn Homeslice

The offsetting penalty rule changed in 1985, nicknamed the Gretzky Rule. He was so good at 4 on 4 with the extra space that the league had to even things up by having the teams stay at 5 on 5. Where's the McDuff rule?
-
For sure, he's in the same boat as Artyom Levshunov probably both in the top 5 or 6. Silayev looks like a better skating Chara.
-
I can't help but laugh at this Gretzky vs McDavid confusion. Wayne's desire to win gets not only a 92 goal season, but his playmaking was stupidly awesome. His wingers just needed to stand near the net. He's probably the best penalty killing scorer ever. The fact that Gretzky scored more points 4-on-5 than 4-on-4 is stunning.

If this kid is still there when we pick..

Day drinking I think.

I too like a highly regarded cocept.

Obviously a lot depends on the TDL. If NJ gets Markstrom, then I can see them playing with the confidence that we now enjoy. If Tampa Bay gets Hanafin I can see them winning at a better rate than they are now.

Crap! My feed went dark. N/M it's just intermission... whew

I'm thinking the only guy on the move would be Sprong IF Stevie tables a 3-4 year offer and Sprong says no. I can see a smartest guy in the room GM tossing a late 1st rounder for him.
-
Mee too. It makes me more observant.
-
Chair Rot just showed why he'll be invaluable in the playoffs by burying Zary in front of the net.
-
Been awhile since we've chased a goalie out of the game.

Interesting evaluation of Sprong. https://lastwordonsports.com/hockey/2024/02/05/tampa-bay-lightning-trade-deadline-red-wings-forward/

This is a Sportsnet (Canada) trade suggested by a hockey writer who is most likely probably certainly clueless. Forgetting the St Jose angle in this 3-way, would anyone object to Detroit sending Bear-grin, a 1st in this deal? Would Calgary say no? To Detroit Defenceman Noah Hanifin* Goalie Kaapo Kahkonen *Hanifin inks an eight-year extension with Detroit, San Jose retains 50 per cent of the money remaining on his expiring contract. To Calgary Forward Jonatan Berggren Forward Anthony Duclair Detroit’s 2025 top-10 protected first pick To San Jose Goalie Ville Husso Detroit’s 2024 top-10 protected first pick Vancouver’s 2026 third, previously acquired by Calgary Why the Red Wings do it Hanifin isn’t perfect, but he’s a legit, puck-moving first- or second-pair guy. He just turned 27, so an eight-year extension is justifiable for a team desperately trying to become a playoff squad right now. Husso was a free agent play that has not worked out. He’s singed to a $4.75 cap hit through next season. Kahkonen, by contrast, is a pending-UFA with a $2.75-million hit. Detroit is moving off some Husso term and money and can slot Kahkonen — an upgrade on Husso right now — into the mix with Alex Lyon and James Reimer.
-
You spelled griddy wrong.
-
I'm assuming the above deal would be only if Hanifin signs an extension?
-
Thank you for not calling me a highly regarded font fugger.

Canadiens trade F Monahan to Jets for a first-rounder and a conditional pick
-
Just don't trade these two SY.

Nice wrister from Bear-grin.
