I think the border situation will be different by the time Sept comes around. Leafs looked into Bert and Shanny knows they needed just a little more grit in the playoffs. Pressure is on for the Loafs again and hopefully they will overpay.

I don't know. Looking at the recent history of 7th and 8th overall picks I think we could do alright. SY do it again! Scheifele, Couturier, Nylander, Dumba, Werenski, Nurse, Quinn Hughes, Broberg, Holtz.

I think that's too much if VCR is trying to trim their payroll. Zadina + Suter should probably do it, I would hope.

Any team that gets bounced in the first couple of rounds, and if it's because they lost the little battles (soft) will hopefully pony up for Bert in a draft day deal.
