Pretty crappy way to lose a game we seemed destined to lose. Elvis was their lucky difference.

2025 Trade Deadline March 7 - Playoffs? Buy or Sell or Build?

Does this mean the Wings are not retaining any % of his contract? -
Maatta is not a difference maker, sure I get it, but I would rather have a solid even player than a minus like Holl, Petry, Gus etc.

I've been watching most of the 4 Nations games and love that RayRay is playing great for Sweden. The guy from Finland that is looking really good is not Rantanen, but.... Olli furgin Maatta. We sent him away for a 3rd? Yikes. The guy has looked solid as a rock!

McCann's cost. BearGrin, 1st and 3rd? I mean the guy puts up numbers and his aav is 5m for the next two seasons as well. will Kasper be pissed off that he got sent down to GR? Saves some cap space on paper, but still, he would be losing some dough wouldn't he? -

LOL.... yep I think you take the Kings deal and run! -
And Lyon looked shaky to start with.

I mucked up. I thought our game vs TBay was tonight for some reason. Oh well, gotta lose sometimes.

I think he'll go between 8-14. Simon will be a Boss. -

Still too early for giving up part of the future for a UFA. Making the playoffs is not a certainty as I think a huge reason for our run besides Todd, is our goaltending. Both goalies have been hot and are due for a small regression. For a no brainer trade like the proposed deal made up by Tristin McKinstry, Bowen Byram for a conditional 2nd, Gustafsson and Wallinder. Laughable sort of with the 2nd 2025 becoming a 1st if Detroit wins a playoff round this season. -
Besides the D, Kasper looked great and Sodapop isn't going anywhere too soon. Great game!

You're right although Kane has a NTC which means nothing really I guess. I was talking more about assets that we didn't have to attach picks to get rid of them. I mean if someone wanted to take Tank or one of our regards I'm all for it. -

Wow. Carolina keeps making We Want The Cup moves every year it seems. Chicago seemed like losers in the deal, only getting a 3rd for retaining half of Rantenen's salary and moving Hall. -

No Wings on the list. Is this because SY didn't make any moves at last years TDL? Or is it because we don't have any tradable assets? -
I think Elmer is up covering Motte while Fischer is in for Veleno?
-
Yeah! Sodapop called up from GR today.
-
I for one refuse to pick either Ammo or Finnie. Shame on you for even asking the impossible! I'll take Buium over Wallinder for your next poll.

Indubitably

NHLTrade rumours - grain of salt Detroit Red Wings receive: J.T. Miller and Nils Höglander Vancouver Canucks receive: William Wallinder, J.T. Compher, and Nate Danielson

For sure. Watching Carolina handle the Loafs last night was a prime example for you. They made in tight stickhandling a moot point because of their forwards ability to play a physical game controlling the boards. They scrum quite well while protecting the puck, then find their sniper who has found space for the inevitable pass from the boards. Happened all night with these good scoring chances.
-
I think that's pretty fair. Buffalo may want Biuim or Tumo thrown in as well.

Yet when Pavel stickhandled....
