Oh I'm looking forward to ASP making the team in a year or two. I just hate giving up a guy that can do it all and punish people. Can't we have both?

Gibson and ASP are two totally different players. Gibson is 6'3" 200lbs, blocks a tonne of shots, good vision and smarts and while nasty defensively has a pretty good offensive side. ASP won't make anyone fear him defensively. Local Windsor kid/Red Wing lover.... argh we gone miss him.

I guess I'm watching a different Kasper than you guys. The kid is tough as nails, controls the puck, makes smart plays and is always in front of the net. Looks like a John Tavares in training to me.

Welp. Seth Jarvis just got 8/63.2M with a 29M signing bonus. How do you think that will affect Raymond and Seider's upcoming deals.

Hoping RayRay signs soon as well as Seider. I can't imagine a world where someone offersheets Lucas for 8.5M per and we don't match. Chuck the 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Now think about SY saying NO to paying Raymond his asking price and he's a FA next offseason.... yikes

I see that the Oilers are offering up Ceci and Kulak for trade to clear cap space. I'm thinking the teams that have space will be raping Bowman with their asks. (sorry Hawks, had to do it)

Because he predicted this would happen, hoping SY was the one doing the offersheeting. I think the blowback from SY doing it would have been severe with someone down the road offersheeting Nate/Kasper/Eddog.

As far as I can tell.... we get a buyout no matter how the player signs (agreement or forced), and starts 3 days after JV signs and ends 5 days later for a single buyout of a contract valued at 4M or higher. So we could hear something between tues and thurs I'm figuring.

Please no. Zegras would get killed in the playoffs. I would much rather have Kasper in that lineup spot and have Danielson being the Zegras of our future.
