Well I thought Detroit should have taken this one with the Spurs being rusty (at least they were in the first half). Hung with them for three quarters (above them in the first) then they lost all their gas. Well here's hoping for better things in game 2. Rip better hit some of those open shots - Chauncy can't do all the scoring by himself..... Oh and once again just for good measure... Arroyo sucks... he cost us more points than he's worth. We need Okur back on the bench......

As far as the match-up, I say RIP >>>> Bowen. If nothing else, he's 8 years younger, and that much faster. I say Billups >>> Parker also. Duncan >>> anyone that defends him, Sheed or Ben. But his ankles are still bothering him, so maybe that will come into play, who knows. Spurs are not invincible - remember last year's meltdown vs the Lakers? And look how the Pistons handled the Lakers after that. Anyhow will be very tough - hopefully they keep some momentum from game 7 in Miami. Geese - lots of traveling, Miami-Detroit-Texas. They could be tired. Then again, Spurs could be rusty. We'll find out tomorrow - go Pistons!

True - could be too tough of a task - but they might get a lucky break if Wade is hurt. Even though I think they should have beat them straight up. The D is just as stellar as it was in last year's playoffs. Don't know what it is - but the effort is not there. One thing to slack against the Pacers for a few games, and still win purely on being the better team, but that's not going to work against Miami. Sad.

Yeah - I think the joke officiating in the first part of the game really threw this one to Miami. HOWEVER, the Pistons look disorganized and flat - and are playing with no passion. Look at Phoenix - went out fighting hard down to the last second last night. Detroit needs to play like that. Oh well, if it's Miami-San Antonio I'm out until next playoffs. Just a diversion from hockey for me really...............
