What a great game! Now on to the Aves....holy crap i'm tired this week staying up every night watching hockey. I LOVE the playoffs!

NFM, i'm with you on game 7s, but after the Wings game last night and this game, i'm about to bite all my fingernails off. The Boston crowd is rockin now!

Al looked like he was chomping at the bit when he had to stand at the gate watching someone else go get the octopus on the ice. This is so stupid! I hope Ilitch lets him do it once........"Al, go do your thing!" Did you see Tootoo go pick up that one octopus and throw it down the visitor's hallway? That was just NOT RIGHT seeing that......I don't like it!

I've been in the visitors locker room during the Toast, but didn't think it was THAT bad. Remember when Scotty had the room painted just before a game? Anyways, the opposing teams always talk about how difficult it is playing at the Joe. I'm sure the locker rooms don't have much to do with it; however. I feel as passionate about this as Osgod does, because i've spent a crapload of money in my lifetime on attending Wings games. I think if you've never been to a playoff game, you absolutely can't judge by watching a game on TV. You HAVE to be there to feel the electricity in that building. I've been to regular season games where i've been disappointed in the crowd, and basically the top seats are the ones trying to get the chants going and it fizzles out. The last Dallas home game was the best game i've been to this year. It was LOUD and the Joe rocked. Nothing pisses me off more than seeing all of those empty seats from VIP holders who either don't attend, or sit in the Olympia room talking business. I spoke with a guy who works and markets the suites, and he told me that they are trying to get season ticket holders to let them know if they aren't attending the game, and they will try to fill those seats with Iraq veterans, which I thought is an awesome idea if they can do it.; however, in playoff games that place is amazing. I've sat in great lower bowl seats many times, and most people around me know hockey and are into the game, and sometimes there are "prissy" people who give you the look for cheering loudly.....which makes me cheer even louder!! I was at the game that Stevie got the puck in the eye, and I swear you could hear a pin drop as the whole arena stood watching. I have only had amazing experiences during playoff games, even in three overtimes where the place was still packed with people on a week day. So don't judge what you "hear" or don't hear on TV as it does not compare.

Anyone EVER hear other teams get interviewed? The Joe is one of, if not THE least favorite arena for them to play, in part due to the fans. They say it is difficult to play there. I've been to more than 20 games this season, and have been to MANY playoff games. Anyone saying the Joe is quiet during the playoffs needs to go. I swear you will never regret spending the money, it is SOOOO worth it!

I would have been happy with Mac or Lilja throw their gloves with Tootoo after the Pred's last two goals last night. Now I just want to get on with it and hope the Wings WIN tomorrow, but also throw some huge hits out there.
