Ever stand on an elevator and have someone face YOU instead of the door like most people do? It is the weirdest thing ever, and freaked me out. That's exactly what Avery did, and I thought it was hilarious. He deserved to be knocked out by a d-man, but instead didn't he get a goalie stick between the legs from Brodeur? Freaken Avery, what will he do next?

My whole family are Habs fans, except for me. A Habs/Wings final would be amazing!!! (especially when the Wings hoist the cup!) On a side note, anyone see that commercial where someone in Canada can bring home the cup for a day for showing their playoff ritual? How sweet would THAT be?!

I realize I'm probably just repeating things that have been said a million times in this GDT, but I'm on such a Wings-high rite now I just need to spout it out. All in all GREAT game, GREAT experience. GO WINGS! THanks for the summary! I had to miss the game so I taped it, avoided news to watch it, and somehow only taped the first period! Mac's goal was sweet! Glad you had fun at the game. Nothing in the world like a playoff game at the Joe.

Cobo Joe's, on Congress. Park right next door in the parking garage. Cobo Joe's is always packed with Wings fans prior to games. Food is "bar menu" food, but it is good for a pre-game meal. They will have a Preds jersey taped to the floor at the front door, so don't forget to wipe your feet. It is a 5 minute walk to the Joe from there. Much easier than waiting for a shuttle bus to go back there for a beer after the game. GO WINGS!!! Have fun~

Yeah I feel REAL bad for them. It's called getting paid to do your job, and having the game on when and where they said in the first place.

Just spoke to Comcast. Of course they are having "technical difficulties" trying to get the game on 900 or 901, and will have the game on one of those channels as soon as possible. (Couldn't give a general idea) They also told me the game would be replayed at 11:00 pm on channel 39, so that doesn't sound good.

That was hilarious!! Cherry razzing Hullie for his foot being in the crease on the ever debated goal. When they were talking about Alfie's goal being kicked in or not, Hullie said all Euro's are great soccer players. Clement asks Cherry if Swedes are great soccer players, Cherry says, "I don't know nothing about Swedes........beautiful women, that's all I know". lmao Great talk from Cherry about bringing fighting back though, I wholeheartedly agree!!!

I'll be surprised if he gets another suspension. I have never NOT wanted a team to win the cup as much as I do now. It would make me sick to see Pronger raise it. Coincidental that both hits were when his team is down. -
