Well Vrana has completely changed my mind (putting up x4 last night to win me $217 bucks helped) He's driving offense in ways Mantha never did. Mantha is still not moving his feet in Washington and is benefiting off the play and the backs of his new teammates. Despite this advantage, Vrana is now outscoring him on the poop wings. Add in Panik, the 1st, and 2nd, and this may be the best trade Yzerman has ever made in his career. EDIT: Not to mention we got to keep Glendening and Bernier. A+ TDL by Yzerman.

Meh I vouched for Askarov in the first round last year, but after watching Wallstedt play I'm starting to think he would be a big mistake in the first round. Totally overhyped. He's big and the technique/positioning is there, but he has nowhere near the speed of Askarov. In fact I would even call his side-to-side movement slow for a goalie. On top of that he likes to play aggressive and challenge shooters outside the paint. Guys like Hasek and Askarov can get away with stuff like that, but big slow goalies will get burned. IDK that he has the capacity to level people like Kronwall did, but he's definitely an 'attack' style defender. Likes to close gaps and engage. Maybe this will be a good compliment to Seider? IDK where you're going these days, but a decent hooker shouldn't cost you $500. Maybe an 11/10 one will cost this much, but those ones are all about the hustle and are likely to only do the bare minimum to get your money. $200 should get you everything you need from a decent hardworking gal.
