After reading up on Evgeni Artukhin I gotta say the guy looks pretty awesome. My only beef with this deal is how un even it is. If we are shippin Legace (whom Im a fan of) then we should get a hell of alot more than a grit D man and a Artukhin. If it were for the 2 and a 2nd rounder then I would see it as fair.

Manny Legace has earned and established himself as the starting goalie for this team.

do you honestly believe Kennan would trade Luongo for Jonv and Choke? Hell add in the Nucks best prospect and Iron Mike still wouldn't do it. Why would he? Luongo is arguably the best damn goaltender in the league. Money or not, he can get a whole hell of alot more on the market than that deal.

the nucks won't deal for Luongo, they cannot afford to and any person that tells you otherwise doesn't know jack about basic math.
