Sounds like a damn good signing for GR and perhaps the Wings in general.
-
We have a bright future ahead and great young wings. it does indeed look very good not great, but damn good.
-
eh I'm sorry but in my opinon not only does Kopecky suck, after this year he'll be done in the AHL. That GR roster though, I'm liking how it looks, got some good young strong players there.
-
wait.....thug image? where? what Detroit team? the Lions or Tigers? Cuz it sure as hell ain't the wings...Oh my!
-
D+ could of done a hell of alot better.

That is the problem. He shoulda came over last year to continue his development. He had nothing left to accomplish, but didn't venture over here. As Barnes said, he'll be 25 in December and has no N.American hockey experience. If he doesn't come over now, he'll be pretty close to 30 before he can crack the line-up, if Howard lets him. Personally I would love to see him come over, from what I understand he's quite a character, but I doubt we'll ever find out. This I agree with. I guess what gets me is posters here knockin on Liv for being a flop when its really not him at all, its management. He easily should have been over in the AHL by now and your right if hes not here by 2006 or 2007 he will be done. Be done with the wings and instead signed and properly handled by another team.

1. Holmquist is way better than Liv 2. I think and Neil has said something along the lines of this a few times as well, that what more does Liv have to prove in the Swedish League? He's won many titles there, hes done his job and done it well. What more is there to do? simple. AHL Ya hes in his 20s your upset hes not turning into the soild goalie he was projected to be? sh*t happens man, doesn't mean hes done. 1. Holmquist or do you mean Lundquist? 2. I'm not upset at all. I'm just saying you guys expect too much from him. He's really not a top prospect anymore. He's got plenty to prove on the Nat. team, but he didn't. i meant Lundquist sorry for the confuson.

management has already stated that grigs will spend the 2006 season playing in russia. Though I do agree with you I wish he were coming over here this year and play for GR.
-
No it won't. They easily have the option to put many other good packages together to send to Boston for Joe. Bouwmeester will not be traded by the Panthers.

Oulahen will be in GR this year you can count on that.

thanks for the link...helps to stay updated. Looks like hes pretty headstrong bout playin on the Finnish ice.
-
That won't happen. The Wings management and Howard have already said he's going to finish up his last year in Maine.
-
Joes gonna end up with Keenan, you wait and see.
-
Osgood/Legace all the freakin way. Just have Legace take a cut to stay with the team and sign Osgood to a 1 year deal with a 1 year team option. Have MacDonald stay down in GR just 1 more year then bring him up and have Legace start.
-
ya i actually gotta totally disagree here... i believe dandy is a really good verstile player who is worth his pretty penny.
-
Jamtin will play in Finland next season. you sure? i mean im not tryin to be an ass er anything its just that i thought management thought it was time to bring him over?
-
i believe Kopecky will be the only one to be actually "Cut".
-
I believe GR will be as follows... Centers: Hudler McGrath Eric Manlow Eric Himelfarb Left Wingers: Matt Ellis Ryan Barnes Ernie Hartlieb Tomek Valtonen Right Wingers: Darryl Bootland Todd Jackson (yes back from the ECHL) Ryan Oulahen (possible I dunno if they feel hes ready for the AHL quite yet) Andreas Jamtin For Defensemen: Bryan Helmer Danny Groulx Derek Meech Kyle Quincey and finally man'in those pipes (course this position especially depends on what happens with the new CBA) DREW MACINTYRE Stefan Liv

well thank you for the update do any reading lately? ....frankly im glad hes stayin over in Russia so he can chill out and hold and get his stride back their rather than here. Its a nerve wreck going into other countries and playing against or with their teams. My brother did it in Germany and said it was quite an experiance. Im sorry Barnsey but I put alot more faith in the Wings management then your hockey wits.

No sh*t well then...that is pretty badass!....future shanny in the making maybe?defensive forward and all?
-
uh Dipietro kinda has bub. He's been doing pretty damn good for backstopping such a sh*thole team.
