Agreed. Use the $$$ to sign Roloson (or similar) and a couple of solid defensemen instead. With a few exceptions, I don't think it's wise to spend big money on a single player in the "new" NHL. It's too big of a risk, especially with goalies. Depth is the way to go! damn right go with a cheaper goalie and depth on D. Who I got my eye on is the Manny for the Wild, problem is he's starting to establish himself and thus might demand hot dollar on the market. Even though their tanking this year I believe (the thing is I don't know if their all going to be UFAs) these goalies might be darkhorse UFAs come this summer. Nabby Weekes John Grahame? Boucher? Ty Conklin knock on them all you want, they have the ability and have proven to steal games and make the differance.

If Lang+Hudler is underpayment Dats+Kronwall+1st rounder for Morris and Doan is overpayment. Dats + a 2nd for Doan I could see. Kronwall will (i swear) pan out to be a hellva better hockey player than Morris.

ya but Doan has not played that 100% this season, in fact I'd say he's playin more along the lines of 60-70%. Sure Hudler is undersized as yet but at least he's been able to make it in the AHL And honestly you know I got a point, the Yotes go like no centermen.

Im sorry Heaton but I really disagree. Lang is still a pretty decent player, the Yotes are tanking and don't have a number one center to speak of. They are very strong on the wing though. Lang+Hudler for Doan would actually help their organization. Hudler+Grigs+a high pick is just overpayment for Doan.

Would Lang do it? or would it take more? I know the great one is huge on him but with the Yotes playing somewhere below .500 you know he's looking around for ways to make the team better.

damn would it be awesome if Holland actually went out and landed a player like Malone here. What you guys think of say 2nd rounder and Hudler for Malone, Noah Welch and Johannes Salmonsson. Overrated, too lopsided? Throw in another pick or player and I think it would be a hell of a trade for this organization.

What gets me about this list is Hollands faith in players like Ko-puke-y. Those who don't play with any form of heart except when their going from one contract to the next. Its an embrassment to the game and to so many players who work year after year to get where they are. Its hard for me to watch guys him Kopocky get a decent playing time night after night in GR when there are far better prospects who are far more deserving.
