Lang and a 3rd for Modin, Matt Smaby and Evgeni Artukhin?
-
bout time....pretty fair trade down the pipe. Ducks get a decent D man and Rangers get a decent producer to semi help Jagr.
-
Jay McKee would not be bad at all on our 2nd D line.
-
Uh.....besides the jackman one all of those pretty much suck for the wings.
-
interesting....more of a leanish power forward?
-
Mark Bell, Jim Vandermeer along with Dave Bolland and Michael Blunden so thats Bell - C/LW Bolland - C Blunden - RW and Vandermeer - D for who? 1st round in 06 Hudler - C what about Joey MacDonald - G (don't they need goalie help?) I dunno how we'd be able to make the cap space for Bell and Vandermeer.
-
If we were indeed going to deal with Keenan for Luongo. Then why get screwed in the deal? Thank god Holland passed up. It's as lopsided as the U.S. poverty problem.
-
Here me Red Wings fans new and old.....this deal is a soild as New Orleans and the Government thats supposed to be helping.
-
oh man Im with ya there. Roloson is not what we need. Osgood has played decent when needed, Legace is coming back. What I'm waiting for is a trade for is 1 Grit Dman who can put points up, 1 2nd-3rd line power forward in the making.

"Hell of a player" would prolly be the right answer when commenting about Latendresse.
-
speaking of prospects...anybody have any updates on how Latendresse is doing?
-
hahahah....must not give up.
-
do bonuses count towards the cap?

http://www.bchl.bc.ca/leagues/rosters_prof...playerID=155971 has size, plays the game, doing very well in a soild league. Somebody to think about?
-
http://mckeenshockey.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=483786 be nice if the wings could land him. Trade via Ducks? Tampa? What do you all think it would take?
-
Yep, still 5'10". peace Didn't know you could see into the future. Hey whens the U.S. gonna fall? peace

Even though he's from back home I'd pass on Gomez via trade. If Holland really said something about waiting for the free agent market of 06. Then Im with him, but I worrying he won't shop smart for what this organization and team needs. The good news is we got a load of vets who will be done. So it at least be a interesting time to be a Red Wings fan. I'm hoping for Chara or McCabe, but I am very doubtful. Least we know he has to do something to fill the holes.

DAVID PETRASEK Interesting that he never made his way across to NA. As a result of being a 1976 he will mostly likely now finish his carrer in Sweden. But after looking through this : http://www.allsports.com/nhl/redwings/pros...s/petrasek.html and digging through other scouting reports and stats, I just cannot understand why he at least didn't end up with GR or something. Overall he now/then (4-5 years ago) seemed like a pretty strong capable player.

tower of a player....GR bound next year?

what it would take for the wings to get Alexandre Giroux and Chad Wiseman from the Rangers? I was talking to a guy who lives in Hartford and gets to see the Wolves play. He was telling me these 2 just look great out there. I was wondering if Hudler, Kopecky and a 2nd rounder in 06 would do it. Thoughts?

or http://www.bchl.bc.ca/leagues/rosters_prof...playerID=106592 http://www.bchl.bc.ca/leagues/rosters_prof...&playerID=65657 I dunno if either of these guys have been drafted by some team or not but they seem pretty damn soild to me.
-
I totally respectuflly disagree. Giroux and Wiseman have loads more upside that Hudler on any giving day. If you ask an Pro Scout whose game is better overall they would definetly go with the above. You said 5 years in the AHL? Lets go with that, for the 5 years that the players have been there they've been productive, they've been dominate and they have contiuned to improve there game and show promise. Kopocky? Ha. Hudler. Only after Babs called him out. Please. I rather have someone whose commited towards the team, than someone who gives their all when they feel like it suits them.

I think your right, Lofberg didn't make it.
