If by some miracle (or embarrassing curse) Detroit makes it in - Lalonde will likely be behind the bench next season...If the Wings don't - I still expect him to be behind the bench (unfortunately). -

I'm gonna send you a customized #8 Chiarot jersey...Want it home, or away? Gotta be frustrating for Ozzie to watch these games...Not so much cuz it's with Keating, but knowing a better coach behind the bench would've likely seen this teams a handful of pts more on the season. -

I'd just assume they lose all 3 with the hopes of dropping down a spot, or 2 for the draft...Hopefully more changes will take place this offseason regarding the roster and who's standing behind the bench. -

Chiarot plays his best as a rover type on D - as Troy pointed out in another thread he was great when paired with Weber in Montreal since he was allowed to jump in the play and make risky pinches…Lalonde won’t let him play that way in Detroit.
