Conflicting emotions…With Detroit not likely going to play in a few weeks from now - to do I bandwagon with? Preds (Milwaukee being the farm team), or Jets (they need luvin too). Really don’t care what goes on in the Eastern Conference.

That 1st goal against Detroit was the Red Wings season in a nutshell…Opportunities missed, tripping over each other, no sense of direction, just a complete clusterf**k. It’s been mentioned before; this teams has no identity with both the roster and coaching staff…Not skilled nor physically intimidating…Embrace the ‘Minnesota Mediocrity’.

Well that was a rather uninspiring loss... For all we know Kasper is Veleno 2.0 DeBrincat was on the bench for a good portion of the last few minutes of the game...Lalonde needs to get his pink slip in a few weeks. Yeahhhhhh..........

Typical win…Lyon is the primary reason, outshot, and outplayed. If this team were a pizza - it would be known as the Lalonde Special; lacking sausage (shots), pepperoni ( outplayed), and thin on the mozzarella.

Jeff Marek was a guest this morning on Sirius XM NHL Radio - made a comment about how Yzerman trading for DeBrincat and signing Kane was a move with intention of making the playoffs…If the Wings fail making the postseason - Lalonde may likely not see his 3rd season behind the bench. -

DeBrincat, Chiarot, Petry, Copp, Sprong, Fabbri, Husso, Compher, and Perron had moments where they underperformed throughout the year - especially during Larkin's absence. IMHO it's these vets that should've risen to the occasion.
