To be honest I was hoping for 2 seasons...If he and Cat light it up - another season would have been great - oh well - I'm pumped regardless! Perry sounds like my kinda guy...He needs to come over on draft day for the milfs.

Was thinking the same...Keep Larkin/Raymond together (add Perron, or Veleno, or whomever to their line)...Makes 2 solid scoring threats.

If Yzerman plans on signing Kane - my guess is he really wants to make it to the post-season come April (IN THE D).

Opposing teams watch game tapes - figured out how to stop the Wings. IMHO our #1 issue is consistency, playing a full game starting with the 1st period...That can be on the coaching staff.

lol I am certain Lalonde is a Blashill clone...Team cannot play a full 60 minutes with any form of competency/consistency...Roster may appear to be better, but the results look the same.

The sad comedy of it all...Did anyone - I mean ANYONE within the Red Wings scouting staff ever look at this guy - 45 miles away in AA?

Sorta feel bad for the Jets...They lost a fair number of guys over the past handful of seasons so I for one have no qualms on missing out on Hellebuyck.

I do too! Too bad I only heard it twice while at the game Thursday night...It's a semi-childish jab at the opponent while yet still a legit celebratory chorus considering Eminem is a Detroit native. Kid Rock, Iggy Pop, Alice Cooper (now in Az), Bob Seger, Stevie Wonder are others who call Detroit home...Not sure if there's any other line, or beat that rivals Eminem's "nah-nah-nah-nah-naaaaah"... Maybe Iggy Pop's "Lust For Life" intro (extended version - wicked song - wicked movie 'Trainspotting')...

Husso may be part of the issue - my eyes tell me this team still looks unorganized and incapable...Like what we had seen under Blashill.

Not so much of a 'total disaster', but certainly inconsistency and brainfarts.
