The Maple Leafs certainly aren't bad because the big four are bad players. The Leafs are screwed because their their big 4 are all forwards and their depth is trash. Just look at their defense. Datsyuk and Zberg are not good enough offensively to win cups with that defense either. Replace the big 4 with two copies of Bergeron and Datsyuk and that team still ain't winning no cups. Because everything around them is literal trash.
