Then SY is the smart one, and he just realized his coach is a dumby
-
Youre so full of it. Raymond has the worst plus/minus on the team at -19. Ben probably asked him if hes going to finally block a shot for once in his career and not stand there like a doof taking more minuses
-
Im content to just let the guy bury himself at this point. SY took a pretty big gamble letting Derek keep his team team together, only for them to fall flat on thier faces (again and again). Id be livid right now if I was SY
-
Derek has gone full Blashill panic mode and is throwing the lines in the blender for tomorrow
-
Ben hurting Raymond in practice would be peak Scott posting
-
Makes me want to pull hair out. Not buying is fuqqing insane. Not selling Kane if you dont want to buy is fuqqing insane. SY and Newsie both have got my jimmies RUSTLED
-
This is what Ben is for Scott. Keeping Lucas in his place.

That's the thing... with this roster these are Blashill results. So why TF we even bother firing Jeff? Well, Lambert is available again lol and Lindy Ruff, and Mclellan, and Babs, and Q. Anyone im missing? The ever elusive Torts still evades us... -
Kaner just wanted to hang out and party with his mini-me

Time to talk about sacking this guy. Currently he's 68-63-16 as a head coach. There's been some head-scratcher decision making. Refusing to seperate Chiarot and Seider his first year. Pounding the table to acquire Petry, who's been bad. Not playing Lyon while Husso and Reimer floundered. Moving Debrincat away from his sweet spot on the PP. Overusing Perron. Forcing Seider to play like a robot. To name a few. But he's also done some good. Team has looked inspired at times. He helped lure Kane here. Raymond shows improvement. Hes found chemistry with lines like Ras-Copp-Fish. Eventually found chemistry with Walman and Seider. To name a few. Just like with a young player, he's a young coach with a learning curve it seems. What frustrates me the most though, is the team falling apart when games matter. That is a huge red flag for me. Twice now weve been in a close playoff hunt and the team has regressed into a clump of mush at the TDL. Hes like a player who can score 80 pts in the reg season, but then dissapears in the playoffs. Ultimately that player/coach is worthless if they cant perform or prepare their team when it really matters. And you just know he and SY sat down b4 the TDL to talk route of the club, and Derek told him he belives in this team, dont sell, and SY met him in the middle by not buying or selling. And now look at us... Derek is gonna lose some serious clout with the big man when he fails to make the playoffs after this. Does anyone else know how long his contract is? I think i have enough patience for one more year, but i wont be willing to stick with this guy if he fails to get over this hump for a 3rd straight year. -
Hopefully 1st game ever Mazur is as good as Patrick Kane I guess.
-
Its gonna be hillarious when UFA comes. Sprong, Ghost, and Kane jet off this rock. Yzerguy re-signs Perron for $4 mil, because Raymond needs his daddy. And then, because of the Seider and Raymond extensions, SY doesnt have enough money to do anything else besides tinker with Oesterles and Fischers. And then rajindhar and the loud mouth dwarf from WWP explain why losing all that talent is actually a good thing, while the normal one sits there xanaxed out wanting to die per usual. Barring any dynamic trades this team is fuqqed right in the poosy

Illitch sacrificed our sacred jersey to the old gods, and there is no yzerplan among mortal men that can save us once the endless slithering darkness of old returns.

Stamkos poisoned my water supply, burned my crops, and delivered plague unto my house.
-
Business idea: pay the jannies. Then maybe theyll actually show up to clean up our messy wessys.
-
Look... do you think Stamkos is a center or not?

I think were all smart in our own ways -
Yeah Gary and his fellow small hat lawyers didn't think that one through.

Another player I really like on waivers: PITs John Gruden 6ft LW turning 24 in May. From Rochester Hills, MI. Very fast and very tough for an average sized player. This is a guy who is certainly going to make the jump to the Penguins fulltime next year. If we claim him post TDL he's not allowed to play in the playoffs. Claim anyway. This is one of the bottom 6 forwards we need next year, and he's a mich native and probable wings fan.

IDK either. But if hiring an account means regaining 20% of my taxed income every year I'd be doing it. Maybe I'm dumb. -

I think more likely it ends up evening out because most US states without income tax tend to have higher property tax. IDK about Canada, but I suspect they are the most fuqqede by this. God bless America. I do have a notice of "REFUSAL OF ENTRY TO THE STATE OF ISREAL" framed in my home. -

I mean I'm aware that tax loopholes exist, but saving 1 million a year just via a good accountant? And if a Montreal accountant can make my 3.75 turn into 4.75, why can't my Tampa accountant turn my 4.75 into 5.75? -
WHY @kipwinger WHY DID YOU HAVE TO MOCK BROCK NELSON???

Friedman says in his 32 thoughts that league revenue projections are very high right now. Which is why we are going to see the cap aggressively grow this year and into the near future. And he adds that this is going to widen the competitive advantage that USA based states without income have over other teams. According to capfriendly, teams like Florida, Tampa, Dallas, and Seattle can pay an $8 mil cap hit with take home being $4.75. Whereas take home pay in Canada and California is more like $3.75 for the same contract. All players Canadian based or American are paid in USD. That's not a small amount of money in difference.... and If Freidman is correct it's going to get worse fast. what do? -
So Avs really did Johansen dirty Not only did they dump him, they dumped him to the one team that was never gonna let him play
