This team should've won 14 games this year, but Campbell refuses to kick field goals and Goff always folds under pressure. There's no way Seider signs for less than 7 mil regardless of term. Can't lean to hard on advanced stats this team is soft and can't forecheck. Not skilled enough to just cycle so how could he have good numbers playing against the leagues best night after night. Constantly being deployed in the d-zone in a trash ass defensive system where everybody sits in front of the goal and doesn't tie up the forwards in front of the net. Dmen constantly leaving there assignment in front of the net to pursue forwards behind the net who are already being covered. Goalies who can't make basic saves yet the guy is only -1 on the season. Cmon boys

Gotta get rid of Petry as well as Husso, we'd have enough cap to pursue another d-man and goalie in free agency. Other than that I love all your moves. I think Stammer gets 4 or 5 years tho FA and it will likely be his last big contract. I think Chiarot as a 5th dman would be fine but you might wanna just buy him out honestly.

He lost his job multiple times to guys like Bernier and Mrazek.. I will admit he was stellar and Holland is to blame for most of his struggles. They rode the guy to death during the shortened lockout year.. I'll never forgive him for his 3-1 collapse against s***cago. If he truly was a champ in net for us he would've at least got us to the conference finals that season. We were better than them and should've won the cup that year.

The wings can't grind a team down, they look just as fresh in the the third as they did in the first and second. No heart at all how many times do you see a forward or dman with the opportunity to throw a hit but instead it's a gentle shove or feminine crosscheck. The puck support in the o zone is dog s***. If you aren't gonna forecheck at least be in CLOSE proximity of the puck so when it squirts out they can't just get the puck out of the zone with ease

If he wasn't such a glutton he would've been a HOF his eating and poor conditioning was his downfall. He was definitely better than anything we've had in net since but he would always let a weak goal in the third. I like to think it's because his stomach wouldn't stop growling. Imagine him in LCA.... He'd scarf down a hot n ready after every intermission. It looks like he's wearing his son's suit every time he's on the broadcast.
