Husso confirmed he had two SEPARATE injuries, and did not reaggrevate anything existing. He also commented that he returned to play before he was fully healed in both February and April causing setbacks in recovery. Furthermore, Yzerman commented that both injuries were not serious and will not require any offseason surgery, as well as the fact that Husso will be healthy to start the season. There's absolutely nothing to suggest that Husso will be on LTIR. Patrick Kane is a soon to be 36 year old coming off experimental lower body surgery with the wear and tear of 1200+ games under his belt. He also went down in February with a lower body injury. And now he's doing his first heavy training offseason in years. Why are we not engaging in baseless speculation about Kane possibly perhaps maybe starting the season on LTIR? Larkin just had offseason surgery. Heck, he'll probably be on LTIR with Husso and Kane too. Can't trust these reports that explicitly say that that isn't the case... But again, Scott suggests LTIRing Husso to be a vegas-style playoff weapon, based on absolutely zero info, and you take the bait hook line and sinker per usual... Oh lordy First of all, Copp was not signed for 6 seasons. We signed him for 5 @ $5.6 But more importantly, you're flat incorrect about his usage. He's not deployed as a "bottom 6 checking forward". He eats top 6 minutes. Larkin had his icetime reduced this year. And lost his spot on the PK unit to JTC. And no longer takes the toughest matchups... now Copp's job. WTF??? LARKIN NO LONGER AN $8.7 200FT FORWARD???? Nah, Lalonde has just refocused Larkin towards offense, and Copp towards defense... Copp taking Larkins old duties. Which is the first smart thing a Wings coach has done in a long time. You do not want your best offensive player spending time and energy blocking shots on the PK. And again, SY has brow beaten us with "becoming a better defensive team" this offseason, and Copp was literally the spearhead of that last season. The Ras-Copp-Fischer line easily being our best line on far more than just a few nights, shutting down opponents. Copp is also the only natural center on the team besides Larkin. Veleno blows at everything, and I love JTC, but he's far better at the wing. Copps not going anywhere my dood, let alone being bought out. He and Chiarot are the backbone defensive pieces of this team. And you should know that from watching the games.

You didn't answer my question about Husso. What is the injury he has that is you suspect is likely to reoccur? Thank you for the info about arbitrations and buyouts. I understand it a fair amount being the one who originally brought it up regarding a Husso buyout... "I don't care what Copp does for the team" You lost all credibility right there. Hockey isn't all about pts. As soon as you learn that you'll understand why guys like Copp and Chiarot get paid and why guys like Ghostbear have to sacrifice 2 million to get a small amount of term.

??? News to me. What's the injury specifically? My point exactly: You haven't been paying attention. Copp plays the hardest minutes of any forward on the team. He's our #1 PK center, and his line is consistently used as the matchup line against other teams top lines. You see 33 pts, but don't have any clue to the context in which that player is deployed or how those points are earned. Cancel out powerplay pts, give Copp better matchups and better linemates, and he's probably ahead of JTC on the score sheet. But since he's probably the best defensive forward on the team, he's asked to be a shutdown player. And SY has routinely said this offseason he's trying to improve the overall defense of this team. Buying out your #1 shutdown center is the antithesis to that goal. I'm not surprised to see you mention Chiarot either. Another player fairweather fans with little to no understanding of defense don't appreciate. Even though he's Lalondes most trusted defender besides Seider... I don't care if you care to absorb any of this, but the notion that Copp and Chiarot are going anywhere in the near future is beyond foolish. Scott literally trolls you guys with this stuff and you eat it right up lmao.

Husso is fully healed and ready for training camp. Wtf would you LTIR a below average healthy goalie? Stop being purposely retarded. Copp is nowhere near a buyout, and if you don't understand that you havent been paying attention.

He'll block any trade that takes him away from Bakersfield

Not sure where Truscott fits after signing Laggeson. We have Wallinder, Buium, Laggeson, Viro, and possibly Eddogg down the left side in GR. Assuming Eddogg joins the Wings and Viro goes to the Walleye, there still doesn't seem to be much space.

After Velenos arbitration buyout Husso and then buy a Dman. Fact that Talbot got a 2 year deal spells the end for Husso to me. Now that Seattle has Montour they are loaded on RHD. I've mentioned this guy b4 here - Will Borgen - get him off the Kraken. He'd be a poor mans 4th D but better than what we have and young and cost controlled. Another name still out there as UFA is Justin Schultz

C: Larkin A: Kane? Raymond? Debrincat? Copp? Compher? A: Seider? Chiarot?
-
Talbot isnt black? Thats how not racist i am. I didnt even notice.

She gets black eyes from running

Trying to tell rabbi scout how to do biznass Good luck

They would hit the floor if she let them out
-
That's Rutger on the far left with Drapes and Truscott. His floor is total hunk, but Id let him take me on the cieling as well if that's what you're asking.
-
I could see a team like Edmonton picking him up to be an ELC cost saver. McMcGOATry.
-
Multiple trades have fizzled out for Rutger McGOATry because of his demand to play in the NHL right away reportedly. Kienan Draper needs to talk some sense into this kid.

It's time. Patrick Kane Class: Cool step-dad Doesn't truly love us, and never will, but that’s okay. Patty Daddy is the only step dad who never hit us or tried to trick us into going into the naked candy basement. Now that he has a job, moms lettin him smash again, and we couldnt be happier. Welcome home Patty Daddy. Strengths: being fuqqin cool Weaknesses: too cool to play defense and will probably cheat on mom Vlad Tarasenko Class: Blues Brother With Walman and Fabbri gone, the band desperately needed another former blues brother. 2 cups in 6 years, and now he's on a mission from god to get a 3rd. Strengths: Not supporting Ukraine Weaknesses: Penguins, Illinois Nazis, ex-wives with bazookas Erik Gustafsson Class: Samurai Ronin When covid19 took the life of his master jonathan toews, like step dad patrick, he was caste out of Chicago and forced to roam the league a disgraced ronin. He no longer fights for honor or duty, only for sweet PP assists and to hear the lamentations of the enemies women. Strengths: throwing the ball deep, take the top off the defense Weaknesses: PP QB specialist Tyler Motte Class: Buddy from college Has a great crypto startup you need to invest in. Otherwise you haven't heard from this guy since he did 12 jagerbombs and fell out of a window at gamma kappa phi. Strengths: will do borderline g-ay sheit if you're down Weaknesses: knows about all the borderline g-ay sheit you've done Cam Talbot Class: 37 year old man Plays goalie (g-ay???) Strengths: who cares Weaknesses: old, not cool

Sabres fan boys alreading declaring McLeod is the #1 shutdown center in the league and faster than McDavid. God bless that fanbase

Why? If anything his stock has increased post draft IIMO.

Don't read too much into it. Buffalo doesn't give their managers a mandate beyond 3 years, so they all make a buncha panic moves at the end of their contracts in order to "win now", but they don't win, and it just screws over the next manager down the line... who only has a 3 year mandate. Rinse repeat. Terrible trade. I guarantee McLeod and Tullio are not on the Sabres roster in 3 years. I was worried Ottawa and Buffalo would pass us by soon in their rebuilds. But this kinda thing reminds me just how regarded those franchises are.

Still seeing rumors of Preds going for Ekblad. Maybe we can still get.
