And having your future stud play backup to a former stud like MAF for a season im sure entices them. However, Husso would have to be going back in that trade, and Minny wònt want that. We arent the dance partner for them. Rossi would be awesome, but theres zero reason for Minny to want to trade him. Hes performing well on a cheap ELC, which is exactly what they want for next year: their final season of Parise/Suter buyout hell. He aint moving.

Kaplan reporting several Kraken players expressed they would not play for Seattle if they continued with Hakstol as coach during exit interviews. Hes done as an NHL coach. Several of their best players had their worst seasons ever. The goalies all trashed it up big time, and Beniers went from looking like a superstar to barely being able to string 35 pts together. As well as a number of high draft picks ready to funnel in, in Zadina, Veleno, Berggren, McIsaac, Svechnikov, Lindstrom, Cholowski, Smith, and Rasmussen. But little did he know, the future wasnt so bright, and his former mentor had failed him, because almost all those Detroit prospects would fizzle out during his tenure in Detroit.
