If you recall, SY tried to acquire JVR at the 2023 TDL, but the trade with the flyers fell apart at the last second. Obviously not going to be an impact player for us. Think this is more of a character/leadership signing. And we certainly need more of both of those things. -

IDK man, go talk to jacky fans. They liked having him around. He's definately a bottom 6er at this point in his career, but CBJ liked him fot his ability to jump into a top6 role and play well when needed. Buffalo fans dont have a lot of nice things to say about Byram -

Here's the current lineup, not including guys that, IMO, are waivable: Dcat - Larkin - Ray Copp - Kasper - Kane JVR - JTC - Berggren Soder - Ras - ______ Ed - Mo Chia - Ajo _____ - _____ Gibson/Talbot I'd go get Grezlyck and Ehlers if possible. Market is dead on RHD so just fill that roll with one of our crap signings at this point. -

Well Jake Burndicker hopefully spends most his time in the pressbox or GR. JVR seems underwhelming, but he was really well liked in Columbus last season. He and Kane as vet leaders with playoff bonuses that could potentially double their own salaries means they will keep this team motivated. -
