So then why not let him? That's what I don't get about those saying he's better off in the A playing top line minutes. Playing 3-4th line minutes in Detroit he's: A) Lining up against players better than 1st line AHL players B) Learning from our veterans, and other team's veterans C) Already a large upgrade over Andersson and, probably, the oft-injured Darren Helm Holland's a stubborn old goat. Who hasn't the kid impressed? Let him play. -

I quite clearly remember the Christmas mornings (1-2am) when I was a child and mom would drive me home drunk from Grandma's house, running down mailboxes and up over people's lawns. That topic comes up in my therapy sessions a lot. I feel bad for the kid.

Joel Ward is good but he made 3 million last year. We can't afford to and shouldn't spend 3 million on a 3rd-4th line player. Miller is underrated. He is actually a pretty big body, hits everyone, and comes pretty cheap.
