god kocur threw some absolute hammers. i remember him breaking somebody's helmet in half with a punch. just brutal - knuckles like ground chuck. we already have a couple of defensemen that are more than capable of doing this.

exactly right. unfortunately i've had to deal with depression in my life and my mother will still say things like "what do you have to be depressed about?" she just doesn't understand that it doesn't work that way. it took a little while but eventually i learned that things do get better. was it this past year he went after a fan after being ejected in minnesota? i remember thinking then that he must be struggling internally. if it is suicide...man that's just awful. 28 years old is too young to give up. tragic.
