yeah, that is a dangerous combination. i have heard talk in the past of reducing the size of equipment. with shanahan now calling some shots, i bet he'll actually do something about that, since his pro shoulder pads were the same he used in the juniors. and hopefully he'll bring more consistency to the rules, though why burrows was not suspended completely baffles me.

i dont know why somebody "negatived" you on this. your exact point has been talked about on sports shows ever since the hit. though i wouldn't say it was in response to burrows scoring 2 goals afterwards, i think they would have come down on anybody hard regardless of what he did.

the power play has to be really good consistently or we'll just be humiliated. i don't necessarily want an enforcer, but i can't honestly imagine how we would have faired against any of the two teams in the finals. it's ***-for-tat and i don't think our team is all that capable of that.
