Totally agree. Difference is with Hasek, the team had the luxury of of him making mistakes as they could easily put up another goal or 2. At this point in time, scoring has been sparse at best.

Howard is improving, just like many will with more playing time. I still think he is caught out of position too many times as he plays to far out of the net. Hope this area he improves on; i.e. the 1st goal tonight and then during the end of the 3rd where he lost his stick.

Yeah, actually I have... Apparently the string of shutouts and very few goals scored of late is not the reason why the Wings have been losing. Be active, donate the the site and or come out and join fellow LGW Members watching games!

Surprised Harold did not quote you and give kudos for the proper use of that word. In my eyes, Osgood has never been able to carry a team all by himself throughout an entire year (regular season and playoffs). In 2008, Hasek played a big role in the regular season. Last year Conkin played a big role in the regular season. And in previous years when Vernon was here. Maybe this is a bit different situation due to Howard being a rookie, younger, inexperienced, or etc. Just a thought.
