Stuart received stitches from a high stick, the call was missed. Automatic 4 minute penalty... A 4 minute penalty can change the outcome of a game. More zebras were added to the game years back to catch more missed calls or that is what they tell us...

Doesn't this for all hockey games? Reduce turnovers and keep pressure on the puck? Come on... The calls were in favor of the Hawks last night, calls that were made should not of been called and calls that should of been made were missed. I have not said much about the reffing throughout the entire playoffs, including the goal that was called off during the Wings-Ducks series. Actually, I caught s*** from a few members here while sitting at a bar while watching the game together. I stated the ref lost site of the puck and blew the whistle, it was the right call, but I reinforced that comment stating the ref should of been in better position to watch the puck. Game #3 is a different animal... The reffing in that game was ******* sickening and disgraceful.

Kronwall pushes up off the ice AFTER he makes contact with the player, not before, which is LEGAL. He does this to put more weight into the hit and or check. I think that is where a lot of people are getting confused.

Damage was already done by the 3rd and you know it... The ref's handed the Hawks the game in the 1st period.... Highstick on Cleary was the right call, but everything else, come on.... I was laughing listening to Joe Q's post game interview and moaning about his team taking 3 penalties....

Ref's handing the Hawks the game by not calling penalties on the Hawks and abusing their whistles by calling WAY too many on the Wings.

On the replay the puck was going to touch his skate and looked like Havlat was going to touch it... It is spelled Kronwall, not Cronwall... Eager also threw a hit where there was no puck in the area and a call was missed. Stuart took a high stick from a Hawks player and needed to get stitches, and your right again, no call was made. Jebus....
