This reminds me when #91 was being sued for 2 million dollars by a bank: http://nhl.fanhouse.com/2008/07/16/sergei-...ov-sued-for-2m/

During the post game interview one of the reporters ask Babcock about the choice of Koper fighting FB. BabCOCK said something like "do you think it was a smart choice; FB is a tough kid" or something like that. Basically, BabCOCK was not pleased that Koper fought... Look what the end result was...

Considering the Canes are up 3-1 in the series against the Beaners, this thread should be brought back up. Plus, the status of the following teams in the playoffs that had some decent goal tending stats during regular season: Columbus - out Philly - out Rangers - out St. Louis - out Sharks - out Devils - out

I thought some TV news anchor was fired for posting slander on the net? Referring about posting ANY information on the internet that be considered harmful to ones quality of life, nothing else. Anyways; death threats are serious and need to be investigated. Simple as that.
-
Would it be out of the ordinary for an article to come out about Crosby whining that no one threatened him?
-
Not even threats, but just posting slandering information or something. Wasn't there a news anchor on TV fired for his comments online?
-
Of course.
-
Totally Agree. Always better to be safe.

Ontario Wings Fan?

Do. Not. Care. Get better ASAP.

Does having him out of the lineup make us any better? No. Would having him back in the lineup make us any worse? No.

Any idiot or immature kid that has access to the internet, knows how to fumble their way into forums, and express their opinion when they should be seen and not heard is what causes such problems.
-
This is exactly why we need a "tool" section for such people and some members.
-
Anything that occurs on the internet has to be taken seriously, especially something on that nature.

Wings need to use this to their advantage. Simple. As. That.

Went to Game 1 and 2 against the Quackers. I actually almost ran into and knocked over a member of LGW (literally - by accident of course) before game 2, I kept on walking and did not say hi.
-
Thank god I am not the only one who seen that...

Z, Hossa, and Dats have to get going. Ozzie needs to keep his eye on the puck, he was caught out of position on 1 goal he should of had and then let in that softie in OT. Of course, the turnovers did not help. Go Wings.
-
Another good point. They deinfately did not hit as much as they could of. Actually getting to rebounds would not hurt.
-
To be honest, he needs to retire. I was worried he would take some penalties in game 1 and would cost us the game. You can verify that with HockeyMatters because I told him the same as we were at the game watching. Well, look what happened in game #2. High stick, PP Ducks, goal scored.

I am not too concerned, but I do still wonder if Detroit will not show up for a few games and well, they just can not do that in the playoffs like they did in the regular season. We got killed on the face offs today. We definitely are missing Rafalski + Lija. There were just too many turnovers today also. There was no way this series was going to be finished in 4 games, but I would feel a lot more comfortable going into the Honda Centre up 2-0 in the series than tied 1-1. Hope the boys decide to show up and play hockey in game 3.

Osgood let in 2 soft goals, Wings turned the puck over way to much, and the Ducks spent a lot of time in our zone. The Wings had trouble completing passes or getting to rebounds. They definitely did not show up to play today.
-
I just got back home from the game. I do have the say, the Wings played with no passion and the PP looked terrible. Osgood played a good game, except be lost of the puck during the 2nd or 3rd goal; he should of had it. And I go agree with Matt, the 4th goal he should of had. Hoping the boys play with a little more "passion" in game 3.
