Hehe. Yeah, I guess I do expect a little more perfection from what I seen last season when basically comparing the same team. We had the same issues with the Pred's in the past. To be honest, I still think the Pred's gave us the most trouble in the playoffs last year.

The mistakes the Wings have been making are COMMON and NOT RARE. Simple as that. Back to back games is no excuse. Sorry, but there are holes in our game. It has been a consistent thing game in and game out. They have lapses in play almost every game. Some of the lapses last 5 minutes or even an entire game which it did last night. At least last night can not be blamed on a goalie as each one let in the same amount of goals. Ha!

This is a common theme with the Red Wings this season... Not clearing the puck out of the zone, giving the puck away, and letting players split the D which turns into a break away. Did you even watch the game against the Caps? Game against the Wild the other night? Game against the Pred's last night? Our PK is almost last in the league. We are going to make the playoffs, but if we do not shore up our mistakes real quick and see vast improvement, this team will not make it past the second round. There is a big different playing a different team ever other night in the regular season. In the playoffs, the teams play each other over and over again - gets a little more tedious... Some people need to take their beer goggles off...
