Sundin would be a great asset here with great leadership... I am not knocking the leadership of Lid's - he is a great captain... I just want to emphasize that Sundin is the closest thing to having Stevie Y back in some aspects...

As we stand, our D is the same before obtaining Stuart... I think people are forgetting this... I am sure we can make it through most of the season and worst case if Stuart does not resign is obtain another Vet or solid D via a trade (if the Wings do not land someone else on the off season)... D is looking pretty decent...

Kolzig may want to be a starter, but he may also want a Cup... The Wings have a good chance to make the playoffs again... Say Kolzig came here with the intentions of Ozzie and him rotating - there is no harm in that and I think he is a better option that most at this point if the Wings want to bring in a Vet... Is there a full list of NHL Free Agent Goalies floating around and if so please can someone please post it so all can be compared... I highly doubt the Wings are looking at Joseph, Emery, Denis, Theodore, Cloutier, and some others... Howard is more than likely not ready to play 20-30 games in the NHL (be a backup)... Holland even stated he wanted to sign a Veteran Goalie (from what I read here) - so what is considered a Veteran Goalie nowadays... Hasek and Ozzie worked together last year in the regular season, neither one carried the team the entire year... I would rather bring is a good Vet Goalie, have him play 30-35 games and Ozzie plays the rest and the playoffs - it seemed to work out well this year... Just food for thought...

I would enjoy to see Sundin here to be honest over most of the players available... The Wings have something good going right now and just need to fill 2-3 gaps (1 D, 1 F, and 1 G) which can easily be done... I am not sure if Rolston would be a good hit here or not - gut is telling me no...
