Sens made it to the Cup Finals, that is all that matters.... Emery is a good goalie and played pretty well, but the Ducks rolled over the Sens like no tomorrow. The Wings are the only team I believe to win 2 games in a series against the Ducks right (I may be wrong)? And the Wings let leads go and never played to their full potential (Hasek stopping a puck and sliding into the net and then yada yada). Canes went to the finals in 2002 and they lost agaist us and then won the Cup last year. Ducks lost in the finals a few years back and won the Cup this year. I find this very interesting.

Poke my eyes out with a fork...... Flippin Pancakes, I swear.....

I am not too worried about Scott Niedermayer or Chris Pronger as een with Pronger out of game 4 the Ducks won....I think the biggest impact Niedermayer for the Ducks has been Rob. He made a difference in game 4, but with him being ejected in game 3 that would explain the outcomes of both games a little.

Finishing a check is one thing, but it looked like a forearm/elbow to the back of the head into the glass. Pronger is the one who should of gotten the penalty/game misconduct. The NHL will be reviewing it so I am sure will we find out within the next 36 hours.

The Sharks are a good team and the Wings have not been playing a full 60 minutes of hockey, that is the problem plain and simple. Now as for the Sharks falling apart? Come on, all the games have been close. I am more worried about the Wings falling apart with all the injuries if we get to the WCF or even SCF.

Ron Wilson is calling it the way he see's it.... The first goal was a "bad goal" and I even stated that. Ron Wilson is also correct on that his team turned the puck over pressure and we scored 2 goals, but that is the basics of hockey. Do not turn the puck over, if you do turn the puck over to the opposing team in your zone on a break out of the zone there is a high % chance the team will score as you got caught out of position. The Wings have done the same thing: 1. Game one the Wings made a stupid play and the Sharks scored their 2nd goal. 2. Game two Hasek was out playing the puck and got caught, Bog Joe scored to make it 2-0. Hasek needs to stay IN his net, this is not the 1st time this year this has happend to him or in his career. Yes, the Wings did apply good pressure and I am excited they came away with game #2, but there is still room for improvement.

Hopefully they can pull themselves together and no collapse for 3 minutes like they did in period 1 of game 1. They did not play that bad in game 1 as they could of easily scored 4 goals, but they could not get a REBOUND. Key to series of take the shot as soon as you get it and get a REBOUND, pretty simple. They need to win this one.

Hopefully Bab's pairs him with a solid D. I still have not seen anything yet of if there are going to be suspensions or not.

TSN reporting Lebda has suffered concussion
Rivalred replied to omnipotent_hudler's topic in General
The Ref's are going to be watching the Wings like a hawk tomorrow as they are thinking we are running into Mikka. The phase "running the goalie" is being misused as a couple of times the Wings were pushed into Mikka via the Flames D and on the flip side Hudler did bump Mikka just touching him and he was called for a penalty. Jamie and Damon should be suspended as it was totally uncalled for... He lifted his head up with one hand and nailed him. Jerome and Dion are a little upset I think because they got nailed pretty good, Dion in game #4 and Jerome in game # 5. Both had to go off the ice and have some work done on them as they were bleeding pretty much in the same spot. They prob feel the Wings have been giving them head shots. I am thinking the Flames coach is going to be in some trouble maybe as it was brought up before, it seemed he was trying to send a message to the Wings and the lumber jack swing to Franzen was premeditated. I do hope Lebda will recover 100% The Flames are losing respect and their level of class is dropping quickly. -

In the old days Bowman would send a copy of this to the league with a nice letter. Hopefully Bab's follows the leader so to speak. -

I am hoping for 2-3 Flames to be suspended and the Team as whole to be fined because the coach should have more restraint on what happend today. -
Pre-GAME 4: (4/19) Red Wings @ Flames - 9:30 PM EDT
Rivalred replied to Must Kill's topic in General
Well, I actually turned off Game # 3 when Jerome scored as I was disgusted with the Wings as all that came to mind was "here we go again". The Wings have had so many problems maintaining a lead all year long and when it counts in a playoff game they screw it up by once again taking a penalty. I do know this has been said all many times, but they need to sit whats his name as this is not soft wrist shot time. Calgary has our number now and the Wings will need to do something different. The Wings goal ouput is declining by 1 goal every game so far and the number of shots were down. They need to play tonight like it is a Game 7 and WIN. If they let Calgary tie up the series tonight then it will be like years past. On a side note, the ice at the Sattle Dome looked like crap as the puck was bouncing everywhere and earlier that day or the day before they has 'Stars on Ice" which might of had something to do with the ice condition. -
PRE-GAME 3: (4/17) Red Wings @ Flames - 10:00 PM EDT

It is going to be a very stress filled game tonight I am thinking. Game 2 could of went either way if the Flames cored on that short handed attempt and that came close. -
Yikes, too much....

Yeah, I am a downer at parties....

Your getting ahead of yourself a little bit..... The Flames, Ducks, and Sharks are TOTALLY different teams now than what they were in the past. It will not be an easy post season especially if our PP does not start to click and we keep on giving up odd man rushes.

Today when the game was being announced by Brett Hull on NBC, he stated that Pavel will more than likely not stay in Detroit and will head to Washington for 2 reasons: 1. Ovechkin and Pavel are BEST FRIENDS 4 EVER 2. Pavel is not happy with a certain person behind the bench, Brett paused and it he more or less said was the coach. Interesting insight on Pavel via Brett.

A&P was an awesome class! A little more information, isn;t the Sacrum 5 vert's that fuse around the age 20 or so if I remember and Kronwall is around that age.

So if the Wings get 1st we will see the Flames again and if we get 4th we will see San Jose more than likely? Hmm...
