I called and made a reservation for Champps in Troy, there will be a 18% gratuity added to the bill. Reservation is for the main floor next the to Plasma TV next to the restrooms, not the patio, but it can be changed. Time for the reservation is 2:15, so that should give us plenty of time to hold onto it and so forth. I personally never have been to Champps, if you can give me a little more insight and if you want things changed, please do tell!

Hours are noon till 6 on Sundays... How can you hang out after the game when they close?

Well I just called there to get some information and they put me on hold for 10 minute so I hung up and called back, no answer.... First signs of bad service.

So where are we going to have it @? I could probobly get a reservation @ Champps. I will try to check out the Spectators deal this week.

You will be able to get in and have food and non alcoholic drinks, but they will not serve you alcohol. Come for the game and the people, be less concerned about the alcohol.

Mine is an unsure as of right now. all depends on when this is... cause if my boyfriend is in town I cant.... You can bring him along..... Do not let him run your life... Maybe she's saying that she'd rather hang out with him when he's in town. So, are we talking about a game soon after the Olympic break is over? That may be true, but if he does not like hockey, she should dump him... I understand because I go 2 weeks at a time without seeing my gf and we go to the same school and I work only 10 minutes away from her on the weekends, but I am so tired after working so.... I have to look at the scheduele... I just got home from the Ice Arena and have to leave in 1 hour to my night job.... I would say that would be a possibility, pretty much right around that time.... I am even up for a week day night... Muse and Vladdy, as for the Thia Food and Wine, I hear PF has good stuff, but there is a place located on 16 and Dequindre that is pretty good also. Now, the Wine at Nino's is a pretty good selection. If you ever break away to Traverse City, the gf and I did a wine tasting near Suttons Bay 2 years back and it was nice up there. Check out www.blackstarfarms.com They have an Ice Wine which is spectacular, but it is $100 dollars a bottle and is in limited supply. It was served at the White House when Hillary was in office.

Muse, thank you for your addition.... Glad to see some people stepping up to the plate here and trying to get something together. Also, Mr. B's or Champps sound like a good location for all as they are sorta right off I-75. If I remember right Timothy would be coming from Marine City and I would be coming from the north east also. Hockeycrazy3033, Shanny14, and Offsides are these posts indicating a yes or no?

This is true and to be honest, when Timothy talked about the place is Troy I thought it was a done deal, but it always seemed not a lot of people were interested or were too busy. No offense to anyone, but a group of 5 or more people would be a good start and I do not even think we had that. I will hope more people will re post in this thread again so we can get a better feel for things and what nights are usually good for everyone. I was talking to SouthernWings about this last night and he might be coming back again in late March. I missed the last outing as due to working and being sick.

Don't the truth hurt... This is a hockey site and that is pretty much what things should be kept to... People getting together to watch games is great and if there is a "spark" of romance, that is fine, but keep it off the public boards, shoot emails or PM's. Compliments or advice are one thing, but not some of this stuff that has been on here lately..... Keep it private people, jesus!

I like Osgood and Legace, but that has nothing to do with hockey and winning. There is a salary cap and with that comes along a lot different attitude towards everything. Our team can not go out and spend 5 million a season for a Turco or Luongo at this point in the season. Hockey is a Business and it is about WINS, not a popularity contest. We need a goaltender who can play good now and give us WINS NOW, not later or 2 months from now. Same goes for a goalie in the playoffs. I do not care if the Red Wings dress up Mowers in goalie pads, if he gets the job done and gives us the W's consistently, then I am all for it.
