They need to play hard and all players need to be firing on all cylinders. If they cannot advance, there will be a lot of questions regarding can this team be sucessful and be a cup contender without Lids? Also, this is a huge turning point for the team as a whole; 1. Is Detroit a place where free agents want to play and 2. Lack of success and not signing high end FA may correlate into Pavs heads back to Russia Reality folks.

I am going to flat out say it, Hawks have the better team. Hey have had the Wings number the last 3 seasons or so during the regular season. Q has a cup behind his belt. He is a good coach. Is he as good as Babs? I don't know. All I hope for is this team to put forth a good effort and at least go 6 games in the series.

Quincy coughed up the puck and it resulted in goal. Puck hit the post and bounced off of Smith... Another goal resulted due to Quincy being tripped and a penalty was not called. It is not Smith's fault that the team does not a veteran core where he can be paired with a vet d-man. Be critical where it is due, but do not lose sight of reality. This D is very young and the team in general is still learning how to play together as it has been patched together the entire season due to all the injuries.

So many 1 goal games we lost, a could of easily been seeded higher. Congrats boys for putting together a good small streak of hockey. This is what the team has been capable of doing. Sad to see Miller not playing
