Congrats on us landing DD. Wonder how in turn will impact the trade deadline now
-
Wow. Both are locked up
-
Hoping it is no more than a 5 year deal
-
Brunner is the type of player needs someone to compliment him, someone to pass to him and vice versa. Plain and simple, we will not know the entire story until Sammy is playing or we obtain another top 6 forward
-
We need him to sign here. It is time we collect D like a precious commodity.
-
As the post above mention, who will play tonight? Quick recovery to Quincey.

BOG Approves realignment, Detroit to the East in 2013/14.

I think having 14 teams in the West and 16 in the East is just dumb -
Didn't Flip cough up the puck a bit yesterday and the end result was bad? 5 million eh
-
Let's hope Brunner, Dats, and Hank net some goals tonight

Chicago area has been pumped. Been in Chicago three times over the last month and been seeing a lot of Hawks jerseys. Was in a Jewel Osco this weekend and a young couple was ripping on me as I had my Wings hat on and the game was going on at the same time Sunday, I had to politely mention that 22 yrs of making the playoffs and numerous Stanley Cups, but I had to digress.

Wings won the game by one goal and when you start winning those, then things are starting to come together. At the same time we have lost a lot of one goal games this year. We are on the cusp

Hope he gets better but we shall see how this impacts his career. -
Custard-filled donuts... Custard is heaven Old school light bulbs or those energy saving weird looking ones

Battle between good and evil, kinda cool.

Due to his last name be belongs on the Wings

Signed Wings sign (D) Brian Lashoff to 3-year, $2.175m extension
Rivalred replied to Jedi's topic in General
Guess Brian played in 2010 OHL All Star Game and on the 2010 World Junior Championship Team for USA -
If we can grab another top tier Forward whole retaining Flip and grab a number one D or Dekseyer (spelling?) kid, I think we will be in good shape.

Red Wings to be in an Eastern conference in latest NHL/NHLPA proposal

For the Wings to play in the East, they will have to get bigger, stronger, and more physical that is for sure. You think we have a lot of injuries now, just wait of we move East and the roster doesn't change... -
Zajac plays two way hockey and is better defensively... Brunner has to learn that aspect of the game; question is can be still be as effective offensively whole being responsible defensively? Brunner is good and folks make a valid point, more focus and pressure will be applied to him... Coaches will be telling players to stick to him like a spandex jock strap, other teams will be forechecking and applying pressure making not giving him time and see if they can rush him which may lead to turn overs and scoring opportunities. Now if he is playing with Flip, Z, or Pavel all on one line, some of the heat is taken off of him... Anyways, good game by the entire team... Congrats to Tatar also

He has had made more mistakes defensively this year than he has in years past, yet is producing more offensively. Green I think has done the same.An article about Green from a few yrs back http://m.bleacherreport.com/articles/317756-team-canada-2010-best-off-without-mike-green I feel the same way about Kronwall at times... I am not trying to change the focus of the thread. Just a little comparison. Also, others around here know what I am talking about and where it can go, because Green could of been on this team so if we didn't give up a pick per say I do believe. The what if factor and discussion...
-
Mike Greene is great offensively, but is questionable at times on D I thought
-
If Cleary can play like Homer, to some degree, and be effective on the PP, then he will make his keep, he will be falling out of grace.
-
He is our best offensive D... If comparing him to Greene
-
I think Miller needs to stayHe is inexpensive two way forward, provides 10-20 goals a season, good on the PK and knows dump n chase hockey.
