Did you watch the Red Wings in the 80's? Folks should be a little more thankful for the watching a team that has had a chance to win a cup for almost 18 years or so straight.... Team is injured and the lines are still learning one another with players who are wet behind the ears....

Captain Crunch was a pick of mine as an assistant or defensive coach as you knew already and were against, but he would not of taken a demotion, so that dream never materialize... Central is entertaining again and it may give the boys in Red/White the push they need to reach deep down and play like they can.... Hitch knows D but do not know if the Blues can keep pace, it will be interesting to see what happens.

Handful of these teams making such a hard push for a spot or good spot for the playoffs is interesting as I wonder if it will burn them up and they will not be able to go the distance or grind every game. If the wings can hold on and get healthy, that is their best chance
